I'm as choked up as you. Whenever I hear this song, no matter the singer, it brings up the memories of taking care of my Dad at the end of his life. It was like he was the little child and I became his parent and had to scare the nightmares and monsters away.

This is the purpose of a singing, you’re doing story telling, you send the message and the emotions to the audience. Raspy voice or whistle voice means nothing if you can’t deliver the message or the emotions. And now a days many singers and people only focusing on that not the emotions/story telling, which in my opinion turns out into showing off, self center showing people how good you are. While CK can deliver the emotions and story, and he got that God given raspy voice that added another level in emotions and story telling. Nice and genuine reaction bro, thank you for that. Totally agree with you. CK is one of a kind, he is a very humble person. I was lucky to meet him in Bandung a year ago and he is so humble while talking with people and he always appreciates his fan so much.
