Deejay has been with them on Bang!, Man in the Mirror, You’re My Best Friend, Butter, In My Room and the Chipmunks song. He’s always amazing!

Deejay was subdued in this considering he can riff his butt off! He was a perfect choice for this. He has been touring with Hamilton..and had to learn the parts of like 8 different characters..and deliver on demand. He’s an exceptional artist..and I always love seeing new people discover his talent..well done!✅

Thanks for your reaction! Yes, Deejay has been a long time friend of Voice Play going back to their days working on the cruise ships and local venues and gigs. He was their featured guest on "Bang", "Butter" and "Christmas Don't Be Late" and a few others as well as a few shorts/minis. Deejay Young recently competed on 'The Voice' but for some reason did not make it very far into the competition (he should have). As far as their preferred equipment and production goes I think you would really enjoy some of the interview videos on Huldra Draco's channel. I hope you will also check out their recent "Classical Chaos".

I've watched reactors now for 8 days and that is the first time that I noticed (after you said it.) That everyone had a different microphone. Great reactions.

Deejay has been with them on Bang!, Butter, and Christmas Don't Be Late. The microphones are props, the music is always pre-recorded. Deejay has been traveling with Hamilton for a year or so, they try to grab him whenever he is back home (Orlando). Geoff's arrangement on this one was absolutely amazing. After they did Classical Chaos, I would have found it daunting to choose and arrange the next one, but then, I'm not Geoff. Great reaction!!!

I just love this one! And I was never a big fan of the song before.

Deejay has an amazing voice. It’s hard to figure out which of the covers he’s done with them as my favorite. Usually it’s the one they’ve just released. But you really ought to watch him in Bang. He does an amazing run in that one. The mics probably belong to the studio where they recorded this. They often, if not usually, record at PattyCake Productions but this time they went to another studio. I know there were huge big speakers in the back so I suspect that the microphones belong to that studio. If I could remember the name of the studio I’d put it in there so you could nerd out, but it’s probably in the description.

Deejay was SO PERFECT for this song! I hope you'll get the chance to check out some of the other songs that he's done with VoicePlay -- they really do know how to arrange to support a featured artist, and he's such a great feature.

Deejay has been a featured vocalist for quite a while. See VP's Man in the Mirror (MJ), In My Room (Beach Boys), The Chipmunk Song (Xmas), Butter, Bang!. He's a Broadway touring kind of guy - did Hamilton on tour so was near Orlando for the Chipmunk Song Christmas Don't Be Late. You've probably heard VPs Nothing Else Matters (Metallica). I heard so many people say that it couldn't be done by an acapella group. Chicago got wind of it, listened, contacted VoicePlay and invited them to go up to New Jersey for their Chicago and Friends concert. In setting up the stage, the manager asked Eli where did they want the drum kit. Eli just pointed at Layne and said "He's it." It was fun to see the Chicago trumpeter who was sitting next to Geoff while VoicePlay was singing. The expression on his face when Geoff would do those drops into those low, low notes. You could see him thinking "How does he do that?" They brought Omar Cardona with them to be the 5th vocalist.

DeeJay is a phenomenal singer. He has appeared several times with VP. He toured with "Hamilton".
