Magician's soul is also a great choice for this deck. Use its recycle effect to send your Metalfoes fusion and combination to the grave for three draws and a search. And even if it gets ashed, you still get 1 card and a search out of it. Kozmotown is also a great target for your Metalfoes pendulum effects, giving you access to search another Kozmotown or monster negate in the form of dark lady with its floating effect
Same with Majespectre Kirin, we have stuff like DPE and Dragoon but can't have a reusable bounce? Sure, it can't be targeted or destroyed but isn't Dragoon the same way?
I play quite a bit of Metalfoes and some more great tech cards to be considered (that were budget in my case): 1. Summon Limit - set it on your turn, use it on your opponent's turn, then destroy it with your metalfoes pend effect like it was never played. In fact, you can do this with other stun cards too 2. Piercing the Darkness - Draw 1 for normal monsters, and basically makes your Metalfoes fusion/volflame unkillable by battle AND with Oricalc can end games 3. Emergency Teleport - Bismuthgear turbo Beyond the Pendulum is nice but man, 2 effect monsters is a hard start for metalfoes :(
E-tele helps a lot with getting at least one effect monster out, bismugear. Then normal goldriver/silverd/steelen, link into link spider and there's your two effect monsters. Alternatively you could play more effect pends like harmonizing/purple poison combo to have a higher chance of having two effect monsters
The only way I could ever see Electurmite getting un-banned is if they Errata it to make all it's effects only work with Metalfoes instead of just being generic Pendulum support.
Then literally no one would play it. Electrumite NEEDS to be generic pendulum support because thats exactly what pendulum needs. Pendulum will be stronger with Electrumite at 1 and STILL won't be tier 1 meta deck....Electrumite is more than fine to come back at 1
This would never work at all, it's perfectly fine at 1 IMO, it's at 1 on Master Duel and in the OCG but it doesn't break the game or anything The only neccesary errata it would need is making all of it's effects a hard once per turn, it's rather difficult to get out before pendulum summon on decks like Pend Magicians (Which it wouldn't be too busted with as Astrograph is still limited to 1) and the decks that COULD make it before pend summon, like Abyss Actors, D/D etc cant really make use of it (Abyss Actors archetype locks you a lot) or have better things to be doing (D/D would rather use it's resources to Gilgamesh), moreover most Pendulum decks have both their own archetype's version of Electrumite (Abyss Actor - Super Producer, D/D/D Abyss King Gilgamesh, Qliphort Genius etc) or have access to Beyond the Pendulum, the best reason to keep Electrumite banned because it's just a worse version of it with many flaws and restrictions that kinda make it a chore to use most of the time Nowadays, it's probably fine to release at 1
"Noone benefits from self destructive behavior" Ohhh the irony, as I love to combine Metalfoes with the cute little Wyrms of Yang Zing. Pop any Yang Zing for a Metalfoes card and gain any other Yang Zing, opening up attributes, levels, access to tuners or Jiaotu, Darkness of Yang Zing who can potentially set up a board. Zefranui, Secret of the Yang Zing plays well with the deck too, searching Yang Zing Path for recycle and Drawing Power, being a good target for the pendulum summoning overall. Synchro Summoning Baxia, you can even pop a set Metalfoes Combination for any Lvl

I heavily appreciate this series as it has helped me organize a lot of new decks on master duel to try, and learn ones that I may struggle with going against on how to get around them. I struggle a lot with deck building so this series is a god send. I'd love to learn about more pendulum based archetypes, as this summoning style I have yet to make a deck from. Would you consider doing igknights and amorphage in the future? They both look interesting but I don't even know where to begin with those two.
