less is more sometimes, and in their case, its everything. The more stripped down moments with just drums and bass are chefs kiss. The guitar layers perfectly. Matts voice is so unique and hard, I dont know many vocalist that can hold a candle to it tbh no amount of deathcore lows will surpass him. Its just raw pissed-off-edness lmao
I don't know anything about your other content, but I am glad you are reacting to my favorite band. An older band that I played drums for opened for Kublai Khan in our hometown when they toured for Youth War and I cant brag enough about how amazing and warm hearted every last one of them where. We had McDonald's on the corner of Capital and they talked everyone as far as we could tell. Insanely positive and emotionally available to a lot of people. Awesome bros. Miss every moment of those times. If they see this they remember Soundcult, LR, Arkansas
This band has so much headroom. They’re so much better at their instruments than they play in these songs, but that just makes them INCREDIBLY tight as a band. I love them so much.
To my knowledge their guitarist had a baritone 6 string not sure what brand, then in a few vids he had a 7 string esp Stephen carpenter telecaster for drop F, usually they sit around drop g# or g, but yea if u want lower tunings you gotta have the longer scale length to compensate, I got a baritone 7 string with a 27in scale and keep it in drop E or F
Swan Song is the one that got a lot of people's attention. And for good reason, it is meant to raise awareness to a nationwide issue. Plus the song fucks. My favorite Kublai Khan track is probably either Swan Song or Resentment. Also a fan of prog, dude you need to check out Parius' a signal heard throughout space if you are a Haken or Dream Theater fan. It's been on Repeat with Haken's Fauna for me
Yeaaa Haken is prob my favorite prog metal act…not too crazy about Fauna overall but I did like Elephants never forget..virus and vector are so good thought…virus is in my top 10 albums ever
@@rockdariff Love every single one of their albums, but Fauna may be my absolute favorite tbh. Sempiternal Beings hits like Veil (my favorite song by them) for me. Island in the Clouds is my second fav song on the album, then obv Elephants never forget. Going to see them live for the first time this thursday and I cant fucking wait. But yeah man Parius' A Signal Heard Throughout Space is a killer album, Can't recommend a listen enough.
Yeaaa Im a biggg tesseract fan haha..I would react to them but I already know all their music…polaris is the album that hooked me…I dig sonder with smile and king being my favorite tracks…Ill prob react to their new material now that I have my channel
This is particularly chuggy even by their standards. Cave man shit. People will 100% be swinging at a Kublai Khan show. They're metalcore band that go heavy on the hardcore part. It's just how you throwdown to hardcore.
