Diana's voice is unique in this world, she can do absolutely anything others can do but she can also do things that no one else can, and no this is not a hyperbole at all. You were impressed by her lows but this is her natural register, she is a Contralto, even more so a Dramatic Contralto, one of the few of this world, the owner of the lowest, darkest most powerful female voice but this is not where the surprises end with her, she is also polyphonic meaning she can manipulate her overtones to produce a multiple voice effect that make people believe that her voice is touched digitally but it is all her. Also she has a huge range, her lows are a given but wait till you hear her go really high, Sopranos got nothing next to her. Dimash is an amazing singer, perhaps the best in the world, but Diana is a monster of a vocalist and a hell of a performer, you have never heard anything close to the things she can do, i go ahead and say that she is EASILY the best female vocalist in the world right now. This vocal competition for children with difficult past (aka Orphans) was not where she started her musical career, she had won over 50 vocal competitions both nationally and internationally before that, but this is where she started taking of, her videos from this show amassed close to 1 billion views before the channel that hosted them was off RU-vid. Greetings from Scotland! So, this was 15yo Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You're Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo. Diana is a "Dramatic Contralto" Extremely rare, the deepest, darkest, and most powerful contralto voice in female singers. Diana also has an added ability to naturally produce "Polyphonic Overtones", a singing technique in which the vocalist manipulates the resonances of the vocal tract to produce an effect of more than one voice appearing to occur. This can take a LOT of practise to produce, but for Diana it just happens naturally! Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russia in Primorsky Territory, northeast of Vladivostok. Her adoptive family moved to Togliatti, in western Russia near the Volga River then after Igor Krutoy (a famous (DIMASH?) composer/producer) gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow she moved there and still lives there! It made it easier for her to study at GITIS International, the largest and oldest theatrical State Institution in Russia from which she has now graduated. She has an extensive entry in Wikipedia now which explains her sad but very inspirational early childhood. She is now 21yo and she has already sung in *8 languages, Russian, English, French, Spanish, German, Ukrainian, Tatar and Arabic!!!(Unofficially she has also sung in an alien language "Galach" from the film "DUNE")* As you view more of her performances, covers and originals, you will see this is the tip of a giant iceberg! For me this is the best voice I have ever heard. I cannot stop listening to her since I first heard her voice and never grow tired of it. She is remarkable and a very down to earth and charming young woman. She is a breath of fresh air on many levels. A true treasure in the performing arts world. I discovered Diana just late last year, from a RU-vid short. Based on the description I was curious, and clicked. And was blown away by her utterly unique voice. I started checking out all the reactions I could find, plus her live and studio performances. She quickly became my favorite female vocalist. There’s simply no one else who sounds like she does.

15 Year old Diana blows them away. She has the voice of a mythological Siren from Greek mythology (The Odyssey). She's brilliant. I've followed her from Texas for half a decade now...I'm totally addicted to her voice. She's an even better person than she is a singer. She's decent, humble and doesn't sell out despite offers. Diane I was born to an extremely abusive alcoholic mother who beat her and didn’t feed her and at the age of three she was found discarded on the street in the winter. She ended up in a orphanage unfortunately A loving family adopted her at age 5. Diana was so traumatized that she could not speak properly so they decided to give her singing lessons to see if it would help with her speech which it did but they found a amazing talent And the rest is history. knowledgeable reaction 👍. Diana's first appearance on this show broke the internet when she sang Indila's Derniere Danse, She's broken the internet several times since. Many genres and in many languages, functional 4 octave range, a vast set of techniques including yodel, mind blowing vocal control and of course that gorgeous timbre. One or two reactions to Diana is like taking a McLaren out for a test drive and not using all the gears... you won't really know what she can do. Subbed Cheers.

Her voicetype is "dramatic contra alto" which is very rare. She has a way of switching on polyphonic overtones, or perhaps undertones, adding an earthy richness to her voice. Cher is one of the other rare women with this voice type. But IMO, Diana here is leagues beyond cher's "talent"

Diana is a once in a generation voice. Lower than cher or shakira with a much larger range and vocal technique. The self autotune just puts it over the top. Rechenka and the crow in Russian are some of her best pieces. She had a horrible experience as a baby and was rescue and overcame. She took singing lessons to learn how to speak after her abuse. What a savant.
