Literally one big artist you have found! I am so happy 😁 I have been listening to Mina and Italian music from the 50s/60s/70s since I was a child and she really is something otherworldly! Fun facts: in Italy she is seen as a “mythological” creature after she left the spotlight in the 1978, leaving the world of the Italian television and live concerts behind. She had had enough of the celebrity culture and of the crazy paparazzi transforming the “dolce vita” in pure madness. Since the moment she was gone she has been playing with her own image in artistic ways so to keep her legend alive. She kept on releasing music, writing articles and leading radio shows. And this particular video you have reacted to is one extract from the very first and last documentary she released in 2000. She knew that the internet was becoming a big part of everyone’s life and, of course she broke her promise to never appear in public again, just for this one time. In the documentary you can find mina at work in her own music production studio. After this unique appearance in the documentary, she vanished once again, no more videos nor pictures untill today. She keeps on being a very prolific artist tho, with lots of albums, new songs and some. It is all embellished by awesome album cover images of her self, always changing like a chameleon. She still is a constant in my life since 1965 when I first watched her in Studio 10 an Italian TV program that was show in Cuban TV, in my opinion she is the best singer of the world, last February she come out with her last album "Te amo come un pazzo" a beautiful selection of songs and she is 83 years old.
