Omar Pedrini il chitarrista, era il vero creativo del gruppo,essendo l'autore sia della musica che dei bellissimi testi. La voce di Renga comunque era perfetta, peccato che poi abbia preferito fare altri generi musicali.

The singer is Francesco Renga, probably one of the best male voices in Italy in terms of quality and ability. Omar Pedrini is the "soul" of the band and it is a wonderful musician. I started loving Timoria in the 90s, when I was a teenager and I still do it.

However Timoria have never played metal. They have always been inspired by the rock of the seventies in all its forms, from progressive to hard rock through the beat. The band no longer exists but Francesco Renga has a successful career as a pop singer and Omar Pedrini, Timoria's songwriter, continues to perform despite having had major health problems. A hero. We call him "uncle rock"

My bad: I classified it as "rock/metal" because this tune is borderline and I didn't know how to describe it exactly. In addition, Timoria is often said to have almost gone metal... Anyway, as Angelo says, who cares? It's a wonderful song, whatever genre it belongs to 🙂

If you don’t know them, you ahould listen to another very interesting italian band: QUINTORIGO. Unfortunately Timoria broke up in 2003. But Francesco Renga, the original singer, had left in 1998 because his solo carrer. Now he plays awful pop music.
