I’m with you! Absolutely beautiful species! Went to a friends house and she had one just a bit smaller. I almost fell over it was so pretty in it’s powder pink pot!
I have one of these, and some leaves are hanging like some of yours . I like the look , but I'm scared there is a problem , Your presentation is great. I'm hoping to find tou repotting video .
Hi there! The floppy leaf is nothing to be concerned about, it happens from time time as the plant grows looking for light.... also, I sometimes inadvertently bonk into my snake, and when I brush up against it, a leaf sometimes will begin to flop a little.😀🪴
Thank you so much for these tips and what a beautiful plant! I never thought to rotate a snake plants every 90 days. I now have a new plant to add to my holiday wish list. 🙂
Actually, snake plants can and do get scale. My Boncel currently has it and my Sayuri had it last spring. Watch for it and treat very early to prevent scarring of the leaves. They can also get the other pests you mention if plants around them have it: otherwise they ARE pretty pest resistant.
Beautiful plant…can tell you adore her, as you should. Never heard of this snake plant but I love the leaves. It has the look of ? Corn husk plant…maybe? But definitely different for a snake plant.
Gorgeous. I have one that I got in really bad shape from a not so great nursery. It got to the point with mealy bugs that I wanted to throw it away. I stuck it outside and gave it a systemic and hort. oil and watered unter a tree in the south part of my yard. It grew tons of pups and I cut out the old floppy but eaten growth. It is gorgesous.
