My husband brought a moonshine from the trash and it was infested with soil mites, I changed the soil and washed the roots and now is so beautiful, a very grateful plant. Thanks for the info 😊

Hi! Yes Miracle gro is our go-to potting mix. Just follow our custom soil mix ratios for best growing conditions, On pests, not many pests, I have not had any issues. but she can get mites and meal bugs, but rare. She's tough. 😀 🪴
You've mentioned fertilizing April thru Sept, but you don't say how frequently. I've had a Moonshine for 2 years now and it's grown to 4 healthy plants now. They go outdoors for 4 months in the summer...zone 6b. I fertilize randomly when I think of it. Never had any pests or problems. What's a good fertilizing schedule for mine.
Hi there. On fertilizer, if you are watering approx every 14 days or so, I would add liquid 20-20-20 to your watering can for first water cycle, then skip adding in fertilizer on second watering schedule (@~ 14 days later) , then add fertilizer back to water the following month to restart the process. A tik tok approach, fertilize, then no fertilize just water; hope this helps 😀 🪴
I'm so worried about my moonshine. The leaves are very wrinkled and I know she's not underwatered (dehydrated). I thought my office was too hot, but it's not over 85 degrees. Help!
Wrinkles typically mean under-watered. Can you tell me how often do you water her? OR maybe she has pests, do you see any spider mites ( tiny dots with tiny webs) or mealy bugs (whiite fuzzy blotches on leaves)?😀🪴
