fucking miss cliff.....you can see tht metal is not a trend, here we are, 10, 20, 30, 40 years later, and still headbanging to the same ol' songs, this will never die
@@sadsadasdsadasdsadas about an hour. give or take. and like i said, its only been a little over a year for me. ofc i can hit hetfield fast, but downpicking really isnt that hard. i find alternate a lot more difficult
Holy crap , this version is faster than a cheetah with its ass set on fire and James is downpicking all of that like a motherfucker. Metallica is truly the best band out there.
If Cliff was still alive he would never let metallica go the direction they did during and after the black album (: God miss Ciff em All!!!!! (: He was the best metal bass player period none better (:
Yeah , but i Really Like to see how they are getting older , and i hope they keep on Rockin last days i learn some songs from the "Ride the lightning" and "MoP" Records ..("ride the lightning" is a damm great song or Disposable Heroes / Damage inc. etc Metallica are just the greatest Band in Metal history \m/
He fucked his voice up because instead of learning Drive technique he would only scream and growl, he only learned drive on the black album(he used the technique there)and he uses it on Load St anger and Death magnetic as well, but after the black album he really lost his voice, learned the technique way too late
real metalligeek question here, but does anybody know how often / when was the last time they played "Blitzkrieg" live? They were both on the Creep single, and they were both on the K'EA re-issue, but "Am I Evil" went on to be a staple of their shows, whereas this is the only evidence I've seen of Blitz' played live.
@colanarcotic You are right! I bought that 33 inchs record years ago. It's the only one I kept. It's colored. Creeping Death's side as a blue-green-white-purple-black drawing of a skull. Blitzkrieg side has live pictures of all 4 original Metallica's members. Serial number of the recording is: P12 KUT 112.
NOOO Camote..u must get down the down picking....lmao...i know its hard as hell but you can hear a slight heavier difference...that's what seperated the great rythym guys like Hetfield and Mustaine although he was lead as well...lmao...and members notice in concerts too..lol. -Anthony
ok they are very commercial in some ways , but i think they still standing behind their songs and i will buy the next Record Blind :-D, (Death magnetic isn`t that bad but SHURE the classic Metallica Sound is definetley the Best )
@Fausto you are WRONG!! They didnt hire Jason until they came off that tour. Just look at that dude he looks like Rudy Sarzo!! I dont know how old you are but I remember the day Cliff died, I was a fan then and Im still a fan now.
Metallica at it's best ! The version from Toronto same year had Kirk play the solo better too. Originally released it in November 1984 as a B-side to the "Creeping Death" UK single. It was also on Garage Inc.
@ThazuaBlackarrow Amen to that!!!!!! I saw craptallica twice with Cliff. They were INCREDIBLE then! Top of their game … an one oft the best in the genre. real THRASH!!!! I saw them 2 years later in 88 …. and they almost put me to sleep … the energy wasn't there anymore … and a few years after that they were playing complete garbage. what a shame … they were one of my favorite groups. Now they are a complete joke. head of the Big 4 my ass
@VictimRattlehead first of all it's known as "jack off" not jack up. and second "jacked up till bleed" means drugs. the point is that his comment means drugs, not what else the phrase "jacked up" means.
@SitotiKurton James never jacked up. He tried marijuana once and didn't like, he never did a hard drug. Lars and Kirk did hard drugs. Only thing James did was drank Vodka, Beer, and smoked Cigars.
@metalmosher451 Jason is an AWESOME bassist, and has some beastly backup vocals. is he as good as Cliff? no. is he as good as rob? that's opinion, they're pretty even in my book, but he in no way sucks.
@XxZero117xX Yeah i actually figured out Blitzkrieg and Am I Evil were both demo's recorded during kill em all but they werent put on the album for some gay reason since both songs are fucking phenomenal.
@VictimRattlehead uh dude wtf....you must be young. Jacking up means to shoot up on heroine. He got that qoute from the songU"So What by Anti-Nowhere League" which Metallica covered.
comparing this metallica with the current one, nothing to do with. Between master and justice were in their prime, so fast, so bitter, so angry. James voice so piercing.
it would be funny to see BLITZKRIEG, Live in Denmark. Poland-36 days against Hitler and Stalin Denmark-6 hours against Hitler France&UK-40 days against Hitler. (1940)
@Mohamed636 They were on my first Kill 'em All album in 1984. Sometime in the early 90s they removed the songs ' for some gay reason' . I think the gay reason was marketing.
@malewhoreslag they still are mate when you think about it 1 or 2 bad albums based on opinions they are still metal gods making albums and fucking the world over with tours
@Mohamed636 i think they rocerded during kill em all but they put in garage if you listen it slowly and carefully u will listen the kill em all audio cality
Then again, Jason had some pretty big balls. He QUIT Metallica. Who the fuck would quit the biggest metal giant of our generation? Cliff Burton was in until he died!
