You do realise, that the majority of growling in the “YOU TURN, TO STONE” part is done by James,.. Just saying. And to make it clear for you all, I, too, think that Robs backing vocals are INSANE, in any way I am not saying that Robs backing vocals are wack..

Here we see the "Hetfieldia Metallicus", commonly referred to as "The Mighty Het". Known for it's vocal performances and guitar skills, The Mighty Het sustains itself by writing songs and performing them live at large venues. This one in particular, as we can see, has an exquisite mustache, and some scientists believe that the vocals of the Mighty Het are determined by the how much said mustache has grown. In this case, by it's vocal performance alone, these rumors now have some evidence to back them up. However, evidence that other Metologists have gathered also stands against this claim. We are not sure if this is correct or not, but new recorded studies are being conducted in every show.
I feel like they haven't played it because this song is essentially the new thing that should not be. But i do wish they would play it again James usually really gets into it.
Have you ever stood under a spotlight and seen how bright it is? That's why you don't look directly at it. I think he's used to the concept after 35+ years.
He sleeps under black seas waiting Lies dreaming in death He sleeps under cosmos shaking Stars granting his breath He wakes as the world dies screaming All horrors arrive He wakes giving Earth it's bleeding Pure madness alive And he haunts you And he blinds your soul And he loathes you And reclaims it all You turn to stone Can't look away You turn to stone Madness, they say Cthulhu awaken He sways in abyss returning Inhaling black skies He shakes with a torture burning All lost in his eyes And he haunts you And he blinds your soul And he loathes you And reclaims it all You turn to stone Can't look away You turn to stone Madness, they say Cthulhu awaken You turn to stone Can't look away You turn to stone Madness, they say Sanity taken Seething damnation Cthulhu awaken (Wake) Winged Salvation Death by creation Cthulhu awaken (Wake) dreaming no more Cthulhu awaken (Wake) dreaming no more Cthulhu awaken (Wake) dreaming no more
I remember my brother was like “Sad But True!” And I was all happy but I heard some more and I didn’t recognize it, didn’t know this song. Loved it anyway
You’re gonna love it I saw them live in Birmingham, England and Lisbon Portugal this year I’m seeing them I’m twickenham, England and meeting them in Manchester, England 😍🤘🏽
Kirk stated a while ago that this is his favorite song of Hardwired and you can really see that in his performance. Dude is absolutely loving this shit.
I was there & dang it sounded so much better live. James was right about his new purple guitar catching the light just right, looks awesome. Thanks for posting the show.
I might be too late, but personally, I'd choose the Snakebyte because A. its limited edition and B. its a baritone guitar, meaning it can tune super low and has extended scale length. Plus that see-thru purple is orgasm-inducing.
I've been a Metallica fan since '99 (S&M was actually my entry point). Seen them in Atlanta 2.75 times, but it sure was great to finally see my favorite band in my home state. And I was definitely hoping they'd include this one on the B'ham setlist. Very glad they did. Excellent job gentlemen. To echo what James said at the end of the concert, "Birmingham loves you Metallica."
Its even better in person! Although, the ...AJFA touring era will always be my favorite, because of the massive Lady Justice statue that explodes (even the stage light holders fell apart!) at the end of the title track. Still, modern Metallica shows are fucking awesome!
@@hardwired6248 Hi, you get a different range of prices, depending on the type of the ticket (GA or the VIP experiences, which are 3). Best way to check it out is going directly to metallica.com, the website will take you directly to ticketmaster's options.
I was there!! Given this is my fave HWTSD song, I remember going absolute INSANE in the very back row of the arena when that first chord hit (and wondering what James' "too heavy" banter meant for a count-in that clearly wasn't that banter's usual Sad But True)... and I'll never forget that last "dreaming no moooore"!!
it would be epically fucking cool if Lars did up a set list that started with the call of ktulu, followed by the thing that should not be, and finished off with dream no more. that way we get the entire Ktulu saga all at once. that would be so badass
I much appreciate these regular videos however.................I'm still eagerly awaiting for the much anticipated first performance of "Here Comes Revenge" ;) .
I was really surprised they did this song that night. Along with the Four Horsemen and Sanitarium, this was probably one of my favorite songs of the night. Can't wait for the show's MP3 download to be ready!!
