@TwilightPotter Omega i guess it was early 80's or something, kirk hands to his guitar to the audition and they took it and kirk lost it and security(or james jumps down) came to take guitar back :D so Lars here try to give guitar to audience and Kirk says no with sticks. It was happened in Chicago so James referenced it

Met Lars and Kirk at the Plant in Sausalito some 25 years ago, never was really a fan or anything, didn't even really know who they were at the time, though I thought they looked somewhat familiar. They were very nice, regular guys. My father and I were there picking up some stands to use at the art festival going on around the corner and they helped us load the gear and chatted for a bit before they returned to whatever they were doing. Decent guys.
It's because he's playing the same notes on the bottom 2 strings rather than the 5th on the A string. You know, like children do when they first start learning haha
I seen them live off the black album tour at market square arena in Indianapolis. James and Lars had a drum duel. James was a drummer for another band.

Haha I love all the hate Lars gets. He doesn’t care though. He’s worth 350 million and Metallica will go down as one of the greatest bands of all time.
