12 years ago my kids banned me from listening to Seek and Destroy while driving. Then I was allowed NO METALLICA while driving. They saved me from many might have been speeding tickets, lol.

Just imagine now 40 years ago a couple of mates hanging out listening to Motorhead and Diamond Head and every other band out there thinking 'man it would be epic to write songs like that, imagine the scenes on stage', then only 5 years later a bunch of high school kids listening to your music thinking exactly the same. I can't even begin to imagine just how revolutionary this album sounded back in 1983

My Dad did 2 Tours in Nam. He's an Old Man now.. But He STILL Gets Rowdy when I play Seek and Destroy, Disposable Heros (or as He says "Back To The Front.") and One (Which almost makes Him tear up, Until those Double Kicks!).. To ALL my Fellow Brother's Of War.. Keep On Thrashing!

Dad was a radarmen in the Navy. He served from '65 to '69 n the u.s.s tatnal and John King. He died @ 70 years old do to a stroke. Yet I am privileged to have a father that enjoyed the same music as myself. He let me do things most fathers would cringed at. I miss you dad.
They were MEANT to play in Brisbane, but cos our brother James had to go into rehab, i once again missed them. I'd rather wait and have my 1st Metallica experience to be awesome, than watch them when they're not at their best for a ho-hum could be better. Get better James, and then get ur arse to Brisbane. The old metal bands writings songs about war time are long gone. The lyrics were harsh, but it seemed a trend that they were quoting what their fathers said about Vietnam.

Im 24 and I love metálica , im into reggaeton and funk etc but this is amazing anyway , this is true music I saw them on they lastest concert in lisbon , they did a metal song of xutos e pontapés wich is a very nice band we have here and it was amazing , theyre amazing
I don’t know if there are any JoJo fans here but I have the feeling that Seek And Destroy could be the name of the new Stand in Jojolion. Here’s some context, this stand’s power seems to be that it can cause inanimate objects to gravitate towards the target and severely damage them. It’s power is activated when the target has intentions of interacting with the user. Even if you notice him out of the corner of your eye the ability activates. Who knows
(my english is bad) seek and destroy sounds very military and angry, for me its sounds like a good stand name for a new version of Narancia, but instead of a plane give him another combat vehicle like a helicopter or a tank.
