The one thing that could have made this better is if they filmed the director showing the final version to the band. I would have loved to see their reaction.
I feel like they got another band to record it and have James sing cause they sure are shy when it comes to playing songs on par with it like frayed ends of sanity etc. But just gotta be patient, heard it was going to be special, good thing it wasn't what they were going to perform at the grammys
I love how the director laughs his ass off every time one of them screams like a maniac. Also impressive they were able to churn out an awesome video in such a short time frame. Good job guys!
I love this song and video so much. The video is so much fun to watch, and I really enjoy the "behind the scenes" access to watch the creative process for both song writing and video production.

Now that u posted it, my dear, I am happy forever!
Now I'm convinced that Metallica didn't write spit out the bone. At least not this Metallica. See, what happened is that James found a time machine, went back in time and mugged his younger/angrier/drunker self. The loss of riffs resulted in younger James writing Load.
this was awesome. getting some insight from the filmmakers. it's pretty amazing how there is such a mixture of effects being utilized. thanks for posting this guys!
I'm diggin the women kickin ass in a few of their new videos, like Halo, Confusion and now this. Even Here Comes Revenge has women aka female deer taking revenge on the predator who entrapped them. It's very empowering to have them see us as equals. :) It's one of many reasons why I love this band.

Best video and song from the album. I'll explode from joy like the skeletons the day they finally play this live
Well done! Great fun. Love the dog. My own dog really loves Metallica, the faster songs. She barks and yelps and scratches on the hall door. Her favorite is All Nightmare long. Without fail, she'll bark and yelp right up to when the music stops completely with that pause near the end--then she is completely silent until Hetfield re-enters with "Hunt you down without mercy!", then she's bouncing off the walls. It's hilarious.
I like the video even more now. Still amazes me how much work is involved, like when you see the credits for a game or film, insane.Anyway great job, off to check out the Stone Sour vid.
This is really awesome. I really enjoyed the music video before but now I appreciate it a lot more knowing all the work that went into it XD (can't wait for the making of the song as well now! :D)
Impatient fans are impatient. I'm sure we'll see the 'making of the song' soon enough. Gotta save the best for last, ya know? And I personally like these 'behind the video' shoots. Always enjoy seeing how a music video gets made, especially one that's full of special effects. And to hear that they made this in record time is quite impressive, given the quality of the video.
