Dear Metallica , I'd like you to know that most of us appreciate the fact that you constantly upload videos from your concerts for us to watch , while other bands don't. Thank you.
Melattica lmfao, I don't even fly from Turkey to Paris(France), the most interesting thing is, they pretty much play on the capital of every country in europe except Turkey. Also, have they ever played in slovenia/kosovo/montenegro/albania and other small countries?
My late brother is a Metallica diehard fan. 1 week before he left, he share this song and tagged me in facebook. He told me how much he love kirk & rob expression in this song. THE DAY THAT NEVER COMES be his last song dedicated to me. How much I miss him cos we share Metallica music since we're kid.
They all have em, that’s where good camera work comes in but yeah they’ve all got those points where they’re enjoying it a bit more Reminds me of that old MTV medley thing they did at the vma’s way back when, looks like they all had fun with that
metfan4l it gets pretty good amount of respect the live version from Quebec has over 7 million views and there is another person that stole it and posted it and it has almost 3 million views. Death Magnetic is aging very well and the live versions are mixed better than the album
metfan4l That whole album needs more respect, its clearly up there with the first four albums.Metallica has been "back" since 2008,why people don't understand this is beyond me.
Got chills watching this! Robert has brought back such a sense of run and youth back to the band! They always look like they are having a blast playing live with Robert Trujillo in the band!!!
It's annoying actually...cheesiest metallica song ever as well...so if it wasn't cheesy enough the crowd singing along to instrumental parts tips the cheese-o-meter right to the max
Locura Jones I saw them in Geneva this year. The location was very very badly choosen. It is a huge hall, where usually the car salon is. The sound was terrible. I noticed fans were singing the wrong lyrics.. I mean sometimes you weren't able to recognize the song. But in this video the sound is amazing!
I hope you do brother. As we seen it will not be but absalute kick -ass metal rock that will not soon leave your satisefied goal of the day that will come. GOD BLESS.
Yeah, if only they would make them more often like Megadeth for example. They are getting old fast, but 8 years gap is bullshit, I know they have a lot of material and potential left in them for new riffs. But I don't blame them tbh, they've proved themself long time ago, they can just tour every now and then and still shit money, that's how huge of a brand they are.
SarcasmCore i think it would be cool if Metallica played a show with just Death Magnetic & Hardwired songs...with the recent covers mixed in like When a blind man cries... Just put all this great new Metallica out there while this new super wave of popularity they are riding is at full strength
Everytime someone says "Hardwired was their return to the roots! So awesome!" I just think "What about Death Magnetic?" Thankfully I'm not the only one who thinks that album is underrated.
henri crousteau The intro on this one stands out but I'd say they gave an overall better performance in Nimes 09. Now that, in my opinion, was Metallicas best performance in the 00s.
Sailstone They may have been tighter back then, but the mixing and James' voice is way better here. Guitar tone and drum sound are way better here. And the crowd humming the intro is just another reason to love this performance.
They played it in Mexico earlier this year and it was badass, James screamed at the top of his lungs at the “god will make them pay” part, and he band just sounded great

I never tire of watching and listening to this live on repeat and I love "The Day that never comes"😍😍 Metallica's performance is perfect! They are charismatic gods🤘🏽
Rich Childs Most Of it’s hate came from the poor quality of the sound from the Cd’s, though I’m sure that issue was fixed and now with the music uploaded for RU-vid’s music app it has great quality.
I bought the album back in ’08, then replaced it on my hard drive with a rip from Guitar Hero, which didn’t suffer from the brick-wall distortions of the CD version.
I can say that Metallica saved me at one point in my life. Feeling like there was no other place to turn, I can always listen to some music. And Metallica never disappoints 🤘🏻
What I love about Metallica is that everyone is in his own world. 4:32 everyone in his job, minding their businesses, and they all work independently still making an amazing combination. Well every band does it, but Metallica do it in their own badass way.
This was fucking awesome!!!! This was a near perfect group performance. Lars' drumming was on point, Kirk nailed the solo and the harmonies, James did his job as always and so did Robert. That moment when James, Kirk, and Robert were all back to back literally brought a smile to my face and reminded just why I love this band so much.
Born to push you around Better just stay down You turn away He hits the flesh You hit the ground Mouth so full of lies Tend to block, your eyes Just keep them closed Keep praying Just keep awaiting Waiting for the one The day that never comes When they stand up and feel the warmth But the sunshine never comes, no No, the sunshine never comes Push you cross that line Just stay down this time Hide in yourself Crawl in yourself You'll have your time God I'll make them pay Take it back one day I'll end this day I'll splatter color on this grave Waiting for the one The day that never comes When they stand up and feel the warmth But the sunshine never comes Love is a four-letter word And never spoken here Love is a four-letter word Here in this prison I suffer this no longer I'll put an end to This I swear This I swear The sun will shine This I swear This I swear This I swear
yes it is underrated but it deserves more respect after load reload and st anger. Actually the sound in death magnetic is like Metallica did in the 80's. After load reload and st anger, they did solid thrash metal, and it is heavier than Hardwired album
When you listen to this live you feel as if you're watching their music video. Then you know this is very well done. My favorite band for the past 34 years
I used to sing this song every day back in 09 when my wife was pregnant... I took my daughter to watch through the never when she was around 5 years old ..her favorite song is creeping death
Love this - glad they played and showed it!......I ALSO LOVE ST. ANGER, LOAD AND RE-LOAD! DON'T BE SHY TO ROCK SOME OF THOSE TUNES METALLCA. THEY'RE AMAZING DESPITE WHAT SOME SAY. CHEERS!
Mr Boss - Many people share the same view as you do and of course you're entitled to your opinion. As a result of these albums being recognized as their "worst" Metallica is reluctant to play most of the associated material. I mentioned and emphasized those particular albums for that very reason, because they get hated on so very unfortunately and undeservedly. I don't think they get the praise they are worthy of. I personally love each and every Metallica album and think they are all extremely special in their own way. I personally could never understand the hate or dislike for those albums. I think if anything they're stronger than some of the others, but definitely not inferior. Again if someone doesn't like them, that's ok but they're unfortunately missing out on what I'm hearing and feeling, which is almost a euphoric pleasure each and every time. It's all good though. People will always have their favourites, likes and dislikes. The reason why Metallica is and always will be be my #1 band is because I love everything about them and have zero dislikes, personally and musically. Cheers!
First Name Last Name lyrics on St. Anger are absolute garbage compared to other albums. The only decent thing to come from St. Anger is a few riffs. Load and Reload both have a few good songs. Reload more than Load in my opinion, but personally I’d rather see Black Album stuff played more frequently. Of Wolf and Man, Through The Never, The God That Failed, My Friend Of Misery. In fact the band has a lot of songs that are way better than anything on St. Anger that they should play more often. Just my opinion though
This song is packed with king shit riffs. This is my second favorite Metallica song, first being Blackened. This song is soooo slept on but the riffs and harmonies make my arm hairs stand up its an epic piece of music in every way.
The entire death magnetic is filled with mind blowing riffs. Like take the st anger, with all of its repetitive and constant riffs that never change and flip it aside, you get death magnetic.
