where the wild things are is one of my all time favorite Metallica songs of all time it has a very special place in my heart and would love for you to react to it
It's a great song but every time you hear the opening you really wanna hear the original, then the second you realize its 2 you like... ah damnit.. still a great song though
@@raycelinwynter8582 its not relevant which one i like better. I've heard the original a billion times. When i hear the opening i don't immediately want to hear the unforgiven.
Metallica - Mama Said. You’ll love it bro. Yet another side of Metallica you’ll appreciate. You should do one from their orchestra shows too. Metallica S & M- Outlaw Torn. They only did 4 shows. I was at the one in Philly about 18 years ago. Pretty amazing.
Bro... "Let My Heart Go"... For him to like this, he would need to find a "No Leaf Clover"... You know that won't happen until he has the "Fuel" to listen to "- Human"...
Mama Said is an amazing song. Goosebumps everytime I hear it. Load and Reload both had great fucking songs (fixxxer, bleeding me, low mans lyric, until it sleeps, outlaw torn, thorn within, etc). IDGAF what anybody says.
Metallica has a song called "Ain't My Bitch." Dead serious, that is not a joke. And it sounds EXACTLY like you would expect a Metallica song that's called "Ain't My Bitch" to sound... which is like... God, I don't know. It would just be hilarious to see you react to that song.
I'm a huge lifelong Metallica fan and I have to say that this album is my third favorite behind Justice and Ride the Lightning. There are so many good songs on this album. A lot of their stuff after 1991 got hate because it wasn't thrash metal anymore. I personally think James's voice peaked in this album and sounds better than any other. You should definitely listen to Low Man's Lyric, Fuel, or Devil's Dance from this album. I love the reviews man keep it up
People who say Metallica aren't thrash are wrong... they weren't even meant to be thrash. They wanted to play what they liked, sure Kill Em' All is basically all thrash but Metallica play what the fuck they want to play.
Once again, it's awesome to see how much you appreciate what you are listening to a describing how it makes you feel, this is 1 of the main reasons I watch you and your videos
Another awesome reaction, one thing about you that no other does is replay a part that you really like and it's usually a part that sticks out to me. I hate when the reactor stops the song always in the middle of a good part and ruins the moment So kudos for replaying the parts you really like or appreciate! Glad you're enjoying these songs and Keep rocking them!
METALLICA - MY FRIEND OF MISERY The song was originally going to be the instrumental for the Black album, but Hetfield decided to add lyrics. Great song, intro, lyrics, bassline and guitar solos. If you enjoyed Wherever I May Roam, One, Fade To Black and Welcome Home (Sanitarium), or their instrumentals, you gotta check this one out!
Great choice man. This is my favorite Metallica song. It’s so chill and mellow and resonates with me so much. James voice is amazing in this song. It sends chills man, you feel it in your soul and you can’t help but sing along driving fast in your car out loud 🤘🏼🎸
Best music reaction channel I've seen. I can tell you're really immersing yourself into the music. I'm gonna go watch all your other Metallica videos now.
Your reactions are so patient and pure ... there is no blanket over your audience's eyes.. You are one of the realest reactors on the Tube. You WILL have that 1mil plaque just like AK bro ... in due time. Keep doing what you do!
Please do more of the Load and ReLoad albums they are so underrated. Some of their best work is on those albums. Bleeding Me is one of my favourite songs.
ImCalledRyan I agreed! My favourite band, and I consider Load one of their absolute best - it covers so much musically, and where Het really got to get alot more personal with his lyrics, and I love that they can do more bluesy and even country influenced songs but the riffs are still so undeniably Metallica!
You definitely get it man. It's even more than they just learned to play the instrument. They found a way to express their feelings through the instrument. When I decided to learn how to play guitar I didn't realize that it would become the most defining decision I ever made. It opened up the world of music to me in a way I never thought possible. I went from one style of music to the next and just get blown away every time I hear a guitar that grabs my soul. I would recommend learning an instrument, and it doesn't matter which instrument you choose. Just feel it and let it tell your story. Express yourself. Keep up the good work man you just got another subscriber
Aw man you gotta hear the first one before the second haha. Both are great! To live is to Die! Do that one next you said u were 30 videos ago haha. Ur gona love that one
This is a great song and video! Yes it is powerful! One of my favorites and I love watching it. It’s a great continuation of Unforgiving. I love watching them in successive order!
King KTF, I just discovered your reaction videos quite by accident. I RU-vid'd the some One by Metallica and your channel popped up. I gave it a listen and you're great. You are enthusiastic, drop game references, have a good ear for the nuances or details of each song. You're entertaining as well. In browsing your reaction playlist, I see you have varied tastes, from country to rock to rap. I appreciate the variety of your reactions. Keep up the good work and I'll keep listening... Peace
tool - schism Rage against the Machine - Bulls On Parade Rage against the machine - Wake up Rage against the Machine - Fist Full of Steel Rammstein - Du Hast Korn - Did My time System of a down - Aerials System of a down - Toxicity Disturbed - Down with the sickness
The Unforgiven I is the best of the trilogy, but The Unforgiven III really awesome, too. Also, Def Leppard - Gods of War is nothing short of fantastic, too.
Man, all the time I do the same thing that you do when I first hear a song like this. . . The best songs are the types of songs that steal you away from the world for a moment as you get lost in the music. That's why you just got to go back and listen again. It baffles me when I hear people say they don't care about instruments, especially guitar. You speak the truth. True artists (aka true musicians) spend years learning how to play and write such artful, impactfully emotional songs that not only sound excellent, but take a lot of skill and talent beyond natural creativity. Too many people put emphasis on creativity and not enough on songwriting as an artform. Aside from being creative, there's a real message for the listener or the world, and lyrics can tell it in words, however, the instrumentation is the chief narrator. You gotta respect this. Speaking of respect. . . much to you. You keep it real, and I appreciate your candidness and your perspective. You got another subscriber. I look forward to more reactions. Also, I'm digging your use of the Mortal Kombat soundbites, lol. -Peace
I agree with you on the Melvins-Honey Bucket...just a sonic wall of guitars and drums to start and then an awesome transition around the 1 minute mark. Cant believe I never heard this in the 90's...just heard it recently and cant get enough of it
So much respect. My fav YT channel period. Load and Reload got so much unnecessary hate and they are so good. They grew and that was ok. It was perfect.
Thanks for posting this w/ lyrics. Haven't heard this song in years but it really applies to my life right now. (Steve Vai - Tender surrender, I'ma keep saying it!) have a good one Preston.
Kinda Shady no doubt...they sold out on "black" but it was ok..black was the last album I bought..lightning was the first..it was an actual vinyl record!
BOO YOW i was introduced to metallica with the kill em all album, loved it but justice was the first i bought and to this day its still the best album hands down
That's how I feel every time I listen to any Metallica album I can't even tell you what my favorite Metallica song is they all have a good meaning to me and the joy I get out of it it's like a piece of heaven my friend I love seeing you enjoy their music
Nooooooooo the original is so much better lol I know I'm going to catch shit for this but I lost interest after the black album..... sorry. There's like a few songs I like on load and reload. But after that I quit listening to em
Oh, then you should probably like 4-5 songs off of Hardwired. The best songs on that one are so much better than anything from St. Anger or Death Magnetic.
@@pantera141000 maybe it is, but that doesn't say much. What I mean is, listen to Master of Puppets, then listen to Unforgiven 2. It's like, where the fuck did the most amazing band in the world went? As a standalone it's pretty good, compared to the best of their catalog, it's mediocre at most.
dude love your videos. I'm a 44 year old white Canadian metal head that somehow stumbled into you. Love it. You see the genre for it's heart. I'll give you a life hack though: If you are watching youtube use the keys: "J" for 10seconds backward, use "K" for pause, and "L" for 10 seconds froward.
Noooooooooo you were supposed to do the first unforgiven, why the hell would you do the 2nd or 3rd ?The first one is the only good one, who the hell suggested this instead of the classic 1st unforgiven? Who is this person? Call the police.
The thing that makes me love this song so much is that they execute their transitions when they go from a hard riff to something slower and cleaner. They do this with so many songs and I can't think of a band that does it better than them.
It's no surprise that yet again you've made another great video. There are two other "Unforgiven" tracks, the first one is from their black album, and the third you'll find on Death Magnetic. You definitely should check out all three.
Ya its great realizing someone took the time to practice and learn the craft of their instrument then went ahead and composed their own music. With other musicians. In a band. You're experiencing this and realizing this a lot later in life than me but better late than never.
I love this song. It's a slower, quieter, more relaxed song that still maintains the sense of power that drew me into hard rock and thrash metal in the first place. It's a ballad, country-esque like you said, that still makes you clench your fist and tense your muscles because the raw energy that was screamed in Battery is still there expressing itself in a more collected manner without losing its charge. Truly a masterpiece.
I feel the same way you do when Hammett let's go on his guitar and I'm sure that there are some people who hate you always rewinding in the middle of the song or whatever but I'm with you 100% on doing so especially as I can see your True appreciation, Love it, Love your Rock/Metal reviews...
You said it best man. You just have to appreciate it...I believe that they have some of the best instrumentals ever. This is one of my favorite next to fade to black.
I know so many black folks that would never dream of giving anything rock or metal related a listen.. and honestly one of my favourite things to do on youtube is watch folks of all backgrounds and walks of life, that dont usually listen to metal, go on their metal journey and realize how much amazing music they have missed. Metal is such a crazy diverse genre that can really bring everyone together. Big ups to you KTF, would love to get your reaction to Katatonia's OLD HEART FALLS, Matt Corby's BROTHER (live on Triple J), Metallica's AM I EVIL? or Good Tiger's THE DEVIL THINKS IM SINKING.
Whiskey in the Jar is an absolutely great selection man. One of my favorite top 5 songs that they've ever done even though it's a cover. If I catch you before you do the reaction on it, you should definitely react to the live version from the night before the Super Bowl in 2016. You could see how amazing these guys are live even in their 50s
