Solid playing, Jimmy! Always fun to watch. In terms of mixing, I'd make the high freqs generally louder; I don't see the snare compression/tuning/mix as a 'problem' itself.

Hey jimmy, I think, in my opinion that the sound of the drums its too hmm electric? Ehm like non-natural, in this and last videos, I mean try to get a more natural sound, more explosive snare, more room.. Like your videos with the yamaha kit.. Snare is loud enough, regardless of the tuning, or amount of compression. With all the comments complaining I didn't think my shitty phone speakers would pick it up.

You are an amazing player! Though it is a little odd seeing someone follow their love for Lars so much to the point they get almost his exact setup and just absolutely no ride in site.
I mean technically he did once….. Just in a studio with a click and after several takes that costed the recording of the album over 7 months just for every drum track alone
I agree on the snare comments but wait...thats just a drum cover and a very good one.So people maybe try to see the positive facts than trying to find something rather irrelevant just to make a negative comment?
