I just got this the other day. Try setting your throttle limit to 80%ish or less. It'll handle indoors just fine.

The Meteor85 frsky is a very stable whoop quad and I really enjoy flying it.

I have the 65, 75, and 75Pro. I really enjoy all of these. 65 is great for indoors. 75Pro for outdoors. I used the 75 to learn playground proximity flying. I am interested in the new Mobula6 2024.

Regarding your flight time- did you use the included betafpv charger only? As far as I've understood it, the charger charges at 1A so about 2C for the 550 mAh batteries. I've got the whoopstor charger for my 330 mah batteries and my flight time has gotten up significantly. Maybe something worth to consider :)

Thanks for the tip. I actually used both, the included charger and an external charger with a vifly board. I was missing to charge to HV on my vifly board but I’m still not getting the times other are getting.

Hello NordFPV!! Thanks for your video! What do you think about Meteor85? Would you recomend to by Meteor85 for flying indoor? Or it is too big for this?

Hello. I have no experience with the meteor85, but thinking that the 75 felt already too big for my house I would imagine the 85 is even bigger.

85 is too heavy and powerful on 2S. 75 pro ist an excellent choice. Else get the mobula 7 or new mobula 6 2024 for indoor freestyle

I don't undersand, I have all the Betafpv Meteor line (65, 65pro, 75, 75pro), I can reach at least 5mins flyght time outdoor with both the original battery and the Tattu one (450mah). The only different one is the 65 with the 330mah I reach around 3mins. The batteries are HV, they are supposed to be charged at 4.35 with a good charger btw

Thanks for your comment. I had to really look hard to find out they are indeed HV. There's nothing indicating this on the battery itself. Normally batteries have a HV somewhere to say this, and I only found the information on their website somewhere hidden in the description. But they are, and I didn't charge them as HV. Will test again. But then I charged the batteries with the included battery charger, and I would expect it to charge to the max being the same company, shouldn't it?

My Betafpv 450mah lipo's are xt30 and I def get at least 5 min of flight time.

With XT30 it means it’s a 2S battery, right? These drones I’m testing are 1S.

I used the betafpv batteries and I get 5+ minutes. I fly it hard and indoors and out and I think the batteries are excellent.

Well, I would have to re-check my tests, but you can see in the video I'm landing with 3.4 -3.5V left after just 2 min. That was the same behaviour with both batteries in all my flights, not a one time thing.

@@NordFPV yeah just weird though. I think this is my 3rd Meteor75pro (as I said I fly them pretty hard and 4-5 minutes is definitely my norm and most of my batteries are at least 6 months old, used frequently I fly a few packs nearly every day like, they aren’t new by any means. Anyway, appreciate the enthusiasm for it! I love it too!

@nordfpv I just did a typical run. No pauses between crashes just let the battery and recording keep going. With a couple 15 second pauses (crashing somewhere I couldn’t turtle or fly out of ) I got 6min 44 seconds. In the goggles it said something crazy like battery was at 2.4 but once unplugged and checked in the checker it read 3.24. Not ideal to go that low but realistic for me. Mostly speed and gap flying but a few rolls. Lots of crashes and at least 3 turtle modes. I definitely think betafpv is not exaggerating. Had I just cruised without trying to hit gaps all the time I think I’d have gotten 7 min.

I did a new test, charging to HV, and flying very softly. I get 3.5 min. If I fly more aggressive I get back to 2.5 min. I really don’t know how others are getting so long fly time. Here’s cold, and that should affect, but that much?

Something seems wrong with 2min flight. Unless really the cold does that. UAVtech has a video about the 75 pro, how to tune it. Check it out and try it. Best ever. 48khz might improve the flight time too. Also try fly on 25 to max 100 vtx power if you dont need more. Gives me up to 1 min more flight time. Also the new betafpv 45mm props are really smooth. Better than the gemfan

Hey Chris!, Someone pointed out this batteries are HV, which I didn't know since there's no sign of it in the battery itself, and I only found the info hidden in the description on BetaFPV website. So my tests were probably not valid since I didn't charge to the max. But still, I don't think that will make the battery last 5+ min. Temperature definitely affects batteries, I don't know if this much.

@@NordFPVif you look at the battery itself. It says it's a 3.8. I get about 4 min on mine, not sure how some of these people are getting 5+ min. The included charger also takes them to 4.35.
