[REDACTED] Actually enjoy the red shells since they were in the original version of Metro 2033 back from 2010, Metro 2033 Redux changed the shells to blue to be like that of Last Light, which I disliked.

American Patriot Maybe in the next game we can have High Grade ammo return. Maybe shotgun shells alternative can be high grade or slugs. So normal ammo would be red. But when you swap to alt their blue.

Honestly it would be really cool for future Metro games, they will add newer and color code different types of shotgun shells, for example: - Red: normal pellets - Yellow: incendiary - Blue: slug - Green: flechette

Dont know about you, but i like Metro's makeshift weapons over all of Fallout's. Fallout's dependency on Prewar hardware kinda leaves less room for the makeshift stuff. ffs, the pipe guns in F4 look like theyre from home depot. Russia knows how to make guns that aren't yellow, on the other hand.

Also I hate that the game implies pipe weapons are made of copper, but when you scrap them you only get steel. I know it's for game balance, but it kind of breaks immersion :( also, pipe weapons sound super weak in that game :/

In this game you actually can kill a lot of people, it just need to be the correct type of enemy. For example, on Moscow you are free to kill anyone, on Volga you must not kill the villagers or the Paladins etc.

You can kill Bandits in the Taiga as well, I went on a full on Mayhem when I found out you can without any consequences. Also, in the Caspian desert, you have lots of people you can kill, just watch where you are shooting and hope you don't kill any slaves if you want Damir to stay.

You do sort of have the duplet and saiga weapons in metro Exodus though. The shambler with a 10-round mag and standard barrel basically becomes the saiga or at least feels very similar. And the ashot with double barrels and a stock basically becomes the duplet but with vertical double barrels. And adding the 20-round box mag turns the shambler into the abzats. That’s what I love so much Aboutaleb the weapon costumization in this game that u can create any weapon you want from the base weapons Adding the duplet and saiga seperatly would be redundant imo because you already recreate from the base shambler and ashot in this game.

You missed an attachment for the valve. It’s a 15 round magazine that makes the gun semi auto.

I don't know how about other weapons but with Ventil you can for example shot once, eject used cartrige, press reload and interrupt reloading animation before Artyom load another mag. In this case you will carry Ventil without mag with one cartrige in the chamber which you can shot)

I miss the jamming animation in games like Metro, fallout: New Vegas and far cry 2. They make the gun feel shity and frail which honestly made them feel more real and keeps reminding you to have a plan b when they fail you. A noticable smoothness in all the weapons is jaring to be perfectly Frank.

The problem with the bastard is that you couldn’t carry enough ammo to make it worthwhile to use and it also did way less damage than the revolver while using the same ammo so a revolver is way better considering a normal human is two body shots from a revolved in mid range while the bastard takes around 4 or 5 shots unless your spray gets you a random headshot which is how I played with it. Spray and pray and if you want to be precise with less ammo than the revolver is the obvious choice. Automatic weapons in this game are not worth using at all

@@richardendresz161 Kalash was always my weapon of choice. Then switched to the bulldog. Mainly because of its versatility. Little need for long range weaponry as all engagements were from 10-100 meters. Bulldog also had a higher damage output and I was always tap firing. Rifle ammo is also the cheapest and most abundant, while still packing a really good punch. I played on Ranger Hardcore.

I absolutely love the Bulldog, I always turn it into a Groza or Aug look-alike with a 6x Scope, I turn most human enemy's head into Mincemeat whenever that happens, I'm a crack shot with that rifle, yeah Valve exists but I prefer really high ammo capacity.

I just wonder if there will be a FPS survival game where instead of having millions of magazines in your pocket. you`ll have a limited amount of magazines, and if you want to reload you`ll have to manually place the bullets in the empty mag in or outside combat. also a mechanic where you can loot certain magazine types and the amount of magazine you can carry is limited. an a reload mechanic like a tactical or emergency reload where if you do an emergency reload you`ll literally drop the magazine and have to pick it up agian.

That's a cool concept sure, but the reason why it's never implemented because it would've been annoying. Take rdr2 for example, people already criticize it because some of the gameplay mechanic, like the looting is too realistic, which is cool at first but later on it become more tedious. I mean, it's a video game after all. Making everything too realistic seems cool on paper, but in reality, it's boring. But maybe it could work in a VR games. But then again, VR technology itself isn't fully developed yet, so i doubt we'll see a hyper realistic kind of game, not anytime soon anyway

Honestly, I pretty miss gunshot sound , reloading sound and reloading animation of metro last light. It's may unrealistic, but savage and satisfied(especially, revolver, Ashot, duplet, valve , preved and shambler). While exodus, the animation is not smooth as last light. And gunshot sounds weak.

What do you mean, exodus has much better animations and sounds. I think you just havent played last light in a long time and forgot how it is. I replayed exodus 3 times now , once when I got it and then twice during christmas last year and after getting the good ending decided to go back and play last light and the sounds and animations were awful compared to exodus, eventough I used to like them. the only sound I dont like in exodus is the flame thrower.

It is open world game with no linear paths except in buildings or in mission areas. I highly suggest getting the game if you like Metro styled combat and open world exploration.

I think he was spending too much time on each weapon. file for few rounds all we want to do is hear what it sound like then go to the next weapon. A few rounds meaning maybe one clip and then let's move on. And what's the deal with the scope, what's wrong with a flex site or open sites . Just asking.

@@jrh7178 That's cause it isn't really an open world game. Think of Uncharted 4 for example. It has open ended levels but it is still a linear third person game that it has always been.

Especially in the caspian, I always have to drive around in the truck to avoid them taking damage :( also, don't fall in the water, that makes it suck a lot worse
