Hey! Im the author of this hack. Thank you for playing it! I jnow its a little rough around the edges, I got a lot of good feedback from people playing the contest entries and plan to make the best hack I can.
Speaking about SoTN, seeing how the SoTN decomp is progressing, it would be crazy if someone thought of making a Metroid fangame in the Symphony of the Night engine, and even a remake of Super Metroid in that same engine.
The ending... One wonders if Samus' life would be simpler if she just blew up the planet at the outset, instead of wasting her time crawling through mazes...
Well... shes human with Chozo and, since Fusion, Metroid DNA. So yeah she still needs to eat. But now she could either eat food like she and other humans normally would or transform into Metroid Suit Samus and suck the life energy from her enemies.
It's an incomplete hack, yet it has the Zebes self-destruct at the end? There was no end boss, so why the self-destruct sequence? There was nothing to activate or blow up so to me this didn't make any sense..........
@@ellenross6828 I mean, yes, but this hack, like all the other hacks recently made for the Starbase Contest on Metroid Construction, had to be made in 2 months. Some rough edges are to be expected.
