Thank you Phil for being a good man not afraid to use Denon units on your video’s and not just Pioneer stuff thanks again and keep up the great work that you do mate!!
If I am in a situation where I don’t have Wi-Fi for any random reason, would I be able to record the set and post it onto streaming platforms at a later time with this camera?
@@digitaldjtipsI’m using a irig stream, DDj-800 and have the settings on Mevo software stereo instead of mic mono. Problem when comparing original audio compared with Mevo recordings it sounds flat. What tweaks can I can adjust, Mevo or Controller?
This looks great.. I don't really want to use OBS as it's rrather hardcore for me.. Would this work with my home set up.. 2 turntables with a pioneer djm250mk2 mixer?. How would I connect the mevo to the mixer?. Love your channel..xx
I’m so getting this. Thanks Phil! Is it possible to integrate a Logitech camera with the Mevo? So instead of buying 3 mevos you get 1 and 2 other normal cameras
Looks very Nice. In my opinion the best feature will be the possibillity to mix the mic with the stereo Line in. With live audience (patience everyone) the recording will be more alive. Nice review, thanks. Regards, Walter
Thanks Phil - great video. I’m considering the three pack of Mevos. Does the app have functionality to automatically switch between the three cameras, without manually initiating it? My goal is to mostly not touch the cameras while I’m DJing - basically hit start and have them switch between the three views, either randomly or at timed intervals.
@@digitaldjtips Wow that was a lightning fast reply - thanks! I’ll check it out. This is such a cool setup, especially to have three angles. I’m running off a MacBook Air so it would be sweet to have the video and audio going straight to Wi-Fi instead of running on the Air that’s running Serato too. I appreciate it!
yes, good when the luminosity is good, try record when the dj is in low light with laser etc... the mevo sensor is so small for the low light condition. wait next version perhaps
When is the wifi to PC going to be available? and, do you think it will transmit it's signal reliably 100' to a router or computer with wifi or laptop?
One question I have...I have an Irig now and can of course use the iphone. When the levels are too high the Irig turns red, is there anything on this camera that lets you know if the levels are too low or too high? Thanks!
Did you run a direct audio line from your DJ board to the mevo? Is it a audio cable jax. What do you use the elgato stream deck for? Can you use it with the mevo
1. Yes, just an audio cable 2. Switching scenes on desktop livestreaming software 3. Only if using the Mevo as a webcam with a laptop and livestreaming software
I own a xdj xz and bought the Mevo after seeing your review. I'm struggling to get audio into it. Which output do you use on the xdj xz? I'm using RCA to mini back 3.5mm connection lead but not getting any sound through.
Hi Phil. I have an irig stream. Can I put this into the mevo to stream my dj sets to twitch. Or is a cable from the deck to the cam sufficient. If so, what cable do I need ...?
how exactly does using your phones 4g to stream work? Does the app need to stay open? or can it happen in the background? This is my current issue with using iOS for streaming, any notification drops my stream since the app goes into the background.
Yes, it is a downside of the app. You need to keep the app front. Best thing to do is switch off all notifications. Note that the original single-cam Mevo app doesn't have this issue, so if it is still available (haven't checked recently) you could try using that one.
Hello. The product is interesting ... but I need to understand if it is possible to connect it to a control switch such as Atem mini or Yolobox with an hdmi adapter. Can you help me? Massimo from Montecatini Terme, Toscana
I think the lead he’s talking about is running an RCA/TRS male end from your decks, to a 3.5 mm male end. It takes your split audio signal and turns into mono for you to then plug into a mobile device.
I have the original Mevo and the start and on the Multicam beta program. Will do a stream soon to twitch under MrSoulFabulous. Working out some of the downfalls of the beta app before going live.

It does seem a strange decision from the company, I am sure not many people would be prepared to pay a sub just for that, so it'll just drive potential customers to more fully featured options elsewhere.
Yea the price is a tad high especially since you have to pay for overlays and services to make the camera work well. The quality is excellent if they included the rest at no extra cost it be worth it. Net little product. Great review.
@@digitaldjtips anyone livestreaming is serious about what they do.. $400 plus pay for overlays. Using a laptop is not that much of a hassle. Also you only get 1 camera angle with the mevo. When i can use my old iphone and get multiple angles. Dont get me wrong its nice.. i just think its a little expensive
@@digitaldjtips see the video quality from these cameras and you will clearly see my point . Overall great cameras and software just need better video quality and I am all in
Not sure what you mean Jonas, the camera? Yes it'll work with any audio source. You’ll have to figure out a way of getting the audio to it as well as your speakers, a simple splitter cable or adaptor should do it.
