Since we're sharing M2K stories. Met him once at Dreamhack Austin. I sit down next to him to play casuals and he gets roughly 2 inches from my face and asks... "What is this". I was so confused After 5 seconds of awkwardly not knowing how to answer hes like. Ohh... I mean .. is this casuals or for bracket? And I was like 0_0 casuals. He walks up. Goes pull 2 chairs and stacks them in a row. Lays down on them. And proceeds to 4 stock me repeadidly while laying down in a awakward sideways position under the table.

I love how emotional he got in the ending, when he watched the part where zero hugged him, just show how solid their friendship are.

I've always been a fan of Mew2King, but my respect for him has grown a lot recently. He is very driven and follows through with the goals he sets, all while being himself and not faking anything. I like to pay attention to successful people (outside of gaming) and what kind of mindset they need to have in order to do well in life. I'm now noticing a lot of similarities between how he and those have done well for themselves describe how to approach things. How to approach life really. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that if and when M2K decides to take another path, he will do more than well. No matter if it's something in which he is a natural or not, as long as he does something he is passionate about. He already has both the mentality and the character traits that most people use a big portion of their life to acquire. Massive respect for him. And honestly, I actually think a lot more people should try and learn from him.

This is just a small thing but i love the fact that the green letters on his t-shirt are transparent because of the green screen.

M2K you're an amazing dude, Im proud to see another person with aspergers like my younger brother who is successful at what he loves doing his best at. My parents often say the only thing that would bring my brother down is his relationships because of his problem of understanding social stuff, but you have friends and people that support and care for you, for being the good natured guy that just loves to play smash. Dont bother questioning or giving attention to those that make you feel unhappy, ad they probably don't have a life as fulfilling and great as yours so they choose to bring you down to feel better. As long as you have that 1 person or a group of the people that you care for and cares back for you too, then keep enjoying life and playing the games you play.

Man i sometimes feel bad for him, he´s such a good dude and even his own people are cheering against him because he is so damn good at the game.

Hey M2K, just want to tell you that you were the one who got me interested in Melee. I always loved watching you play, especially Marth. Now that I think about it Melee has kind of been a constant for me for the last 6 years or so, which is pretty amazing. Seeing you succeed despite your struggles has been inspiring too. Always remember that you have a crowd of your own cheering you on from home 👍

2:38 This is one of the most dangerous traps you can fall into in your late teens/early 20s. It's really hard to trust your gut when it tells you that you just don't care about something when you really don't have anything else that you feel passionate about...and that's _especially_ true when you have other people telling you what they think you would like doing. I'm always happy to see someone be so in tune with themselves that they take whatever path seems best for themselves...even if they aren't as sure about pursuing professional gaming as other people are sure about them pursuing programming.

It's sad to know how good friends they were, and now it's in shambles.

I really cherish when I meet and got to watch m2k warm up at evo 2017. It sucks that people put him down just cause everyone else does.

I live in the middle of nowhere and got no one to play with and got to money to even buy a proper controller so I just key mapped my PS3 controller and it's nearly impossible to wavedash and L cancel with that thing.
