that's not actually all that uncommon. Most competitive players can feel generally speaking the frame data of a characters move without needing to look it up. Not always with perfect precision, unless your one of the gods or just, THAT good at sight reading the frame data of a move. For smash games past and including brawl. I can generally look at a character (even if I don't know their data off my head) and give a fairly close estimate most of the time.

i was such a scrub back then i had to use the master hand glitch to beat Event 51, thats how desperate i was

I beat it with gold alt Roy somehow when I was little. I always played as mario when i could but i thought Roy would be better since he has a cool flame sword lol. I think it took me like a year to beat it. ganondorf was the last alive and i kept running away and waiting for good items. When i actually killed him, I was so stunned, I wet my pants lmao
