Here's an abysmal Hack that the creator tried to make something good out of. Pokemon Dark Greystone. It was so poorly received and nobody played it (except Vinesauce Joel as his shitty Pokemon hacks stream) that he just gave up on it. Trust me it is hilarious to play due to awful dialogue and it's just something you need to experience.

GasMaster Even that sometimes won't help. I purchased once Leaf Green on internet (8 years ago), i've read everything i could found to defend myself from scam and still got scammed (i've lost like 12,5 dollars which wasn't little to 15 y.o.), game can't save and on the inside looks more like sapphire than leaf green. After that i decided to buy only ds games and only if real shop is selling them. Right now i just hope they give eshop rest of gb/gba games plus d/p/pt, untill then im low quality emu (put offensive word here) :/ .

Pokemon Chaos Black is pathetic. They just stopped putting in effort after they put in the starters and the starting pokemon in the tall grass and some legendaries and yet, even the legends are pathetic as well as Mewthree is still a Fire/Flying type and how the rest if the Fakemons just have the original Pokemon's cry. Pokemon Vega and even Pokemon Clover put in more effort than this pathetic attempt at a hack!

Simon Fischer yeah but the problem is that A how would the player know to pick the right starter to move on and B even with learning surf you still can't pass because you need to beat koga to surf so it's unplayable

I actually have a physical copy of this as well and it's definitely the older version because I can't get through Mt. Moon without cheats and the trainer sprite wasn't different. I was intrigued by it but disappointed that not everything was changed. I remember trying to catch Furegle and when I did my screen turned blue and the game glitched out. Now it's not even possible to get past the rival battle after I get my starter

OMG! I used to have a physical Chaos Black cartridge as well! I remember the box back being a lot of screenshots of emerald. I don't know how a hack so bad got a physical manufacturer, and how it even came to Venezuela. It was sold to me along with Pokémon Rainbow (Arcoiris in spanish); some sort of Orange Islands adaptatiofor GBA with bad translation.

OMG... I had a Gameboy cartridge with chaosblack, it's a black case with a picture of chaos from sonic on it. Grass electric is op and from what I know,is the only fakemon not skinned over a pokemon, i dont know if any of the others past the stupid random water area are skinned over though.

I bought this game in used condition from gamestop years ago It even had a bulbapedia page back then where it said the starter pokemon would learn surf at Lvl 38, after 3 Hours of grinding (the game would crash and delete your save file if you catched or entered a battle with that cloud/bird thing) it turned out to be a lie (kinda expected it tho)

If i try to create fakemons i always go with the old habits like: grass type starters are mostly reptiles, fire type starters are part of the chinese zodiac and water type starters being animals that live underwater or in the water fossils being part rock type, of course the route 1 normal type being a rodant/small mammal the bird being a common bird the bug ... well a bug and the pseudo legendary

Please play Pokemon Quartz. It was made by someone whose primary language was Spanish so some of the dialogue is broken english. All of the Pokemon are Fakemon and the overworld sprites are changed. It's a hilarious hack :)
