I went on a trip to Mexico City last month!
My friend joined me a couple days later so the first two days were solo travel.
I stayed in touristy areas, and they all felt safe. Mexican people are so nice. :)
I love tacos and I was so excited to try all the tacos I haven't tried before.
Might not be a stretch to say that I went on this trip to eat lol
I finally got to try huitlacoche, tripe tacos and basket tacos. They were all so good!
And of course, this pastry connoisseur did not skip Panaderia Roesetta.
For sightseeing...
Museum of Anthropology: I'm glad I reviewed Mexican history and picked out what I wanted to see before going. The museum is huge and there is no audio guide or much explanation in English, so getting a tour guide or doing some research in advance will make the visit much more interesting. :)
CDMX was more beautiful and greener than I expected, and I loved the combination of trendy and historic neighborhoods. So much to explore!
지난 달에 멕시코 시티 여행을 다녀왔어요.
친구는 며칠 뒤에 합류해서 첫 이틀은 혼자 여행이 되었네요!
멕시코 혼자 다니면 위험하다고 걱정하는 분들이 많은데, 관광객들 다니는 동네는 일단 안전해요. 어느 대도시든 적당히 경계하면서 정신 똑띠 차리고 다니면 괜찮아요. 멕시코 분들 엄청 친절하심 ㅎㅎ
타코를 굉장히 좋아하는데 이번에 멕시코 가서 찐 스트릿 타코들 종류별로 먹어서 행복했어요 ㅋㅋ
먹으러 간거나 다름 없음 ㅋㅋㅋ
궁금했던 옥수수 곰팡이 위틀라코체도 먹고, 곱창 타코, 바구니 타코 등등 다 맛있었어요.
유명한 빵집 Panaderia Rosetta도 가서 궁금증 해결 ㅋㅋ
인류학 박물관은 가기 전에 멕시코 역사 공부 조금이라도 하고 가는걸 추천해요! 너무 방대하기도 하고 설명이 잘 되어 있지는 않아서 투어 가이드를 따로 구하는 것도 좋을 것 같아요.
생각보다 너무 예쁘고, 푸릇푸릇하고, 트렌디하고 힙한 동네와 역사지구가 공존하는 정말 매력적인 도시 :)
