Half a day to visit a 5M metropoli like GDL sounds very little. There are so many neighborhoods you missed and might want to check out on your next visit, such as Chapu, Americana, Chapalita and many more. Also, Jalisco stadium hosting Atlas is a much more authentic experience than Chivas Akron. Tonala, Tapalpa, Chapala??
@ForTheRoadTravels

Definitely, we wish we had *more* time. We visited quite a few other places in the Jalisco State but we wish we had spent more time in GDL as it is huge and with lots of things to do. We're dying to be back but we hope to visit there soon 🙏❤️🫶. Thanks for watching and for your comment 🙏

I have been to both cities and I find CDMx more interesting and diverse. There is much to see and do in CDMX and every day there is something new to see and visit. Guadalajara is a beautiful city but after a few days, you would feel like there is not more to see or do. To compare CDMX you would need to find another world city

Thanks for introducing me to some of the options there. I’d sure like to see a deep dive into Puerto Vallarta where you guys could possibly stay at least a month before reporting back to us.

Hi guys. Love your content. We booked 7 weeks for 2024 In Jan to March. We’re worried about the sargassum situation in playa del carmen. Are there any beaches where the water is clean and where you would swim. Or is the entire coast line covered? Thanks.

*Hola Tony* 👋👋 Awwww, thank you so much for supporting our content. That's amazing you must be so excited about your trip. We totally understand the sargassum situation, however, this is unpredictable and can change overnight. You will be staying for 7 weeks in the worst-case scenario that Sargassum is bad, Isla Mujeres is always a great spot, as they barely get affected by this algae. We recommend following the Sargassum Group on Facebook where locals/tourists share daily updates: facebook.com/groups/414023702449092 Thank you once again, and we hope this info helps you a lot 🙏🫶

I think those cobblestone streets and sidewalks are a bit of a challenge for some people, and really a problem when wet. How is the air pollution? I've heard it's very bad in Mexico City.
@ForTheRoadTravels
@ForTheRoadTravels Год назад
They probably are! As long as you keep in mind that Mexico is still a developing county, your trip here will be a ton of fun 🫶🇲🇽 However, having the expectation the Mexico should adapt to 'first world' standards is a sure fire way to have a miserable time over here 🫢
@dovygoodguy1296
@dovygoodguy1296 Год назад
@@ForTheRoadTravels I don't think it's an issue for adaptation, just that people who have any walking issues should not go walking in Ajijic or wherever there are cobblestone streets and broken sidewalks. I wonder sometimes how emergency vehicles can get through the narrow streets....

GDL airport has no public transportation, you’re not the only one found that. I did my extensive research, there’s only one Chapala bus to city centro Guadalajara and it happens to have a stop near GDL airport but that would need you to walk a long way to get highway side to that stop. What a pity the 2nd largest city metro of Mexico has no public transportation connection to airport. Then everyone is forced to call a taxi or Uber. and Uber can’t get inside to pick up, so you also have to walk a little bit to outside area to get Uber. If traveling in a small group of 2 or 3 persons, take a Taxi or Uber is worthy but if traveling as single person with 1 bag very light packing, I’d always like to find public transportation first, if anyone knows better way to get a bus from GDL to city centro, please tell.
@user-zyxx-rk5sg
@user-zyxx-rk5sg Год назад
and I travelled to a few other Mexico places as well, smaller airports like Cancun, Cabo, PV all are very hostile to Uber, and has none in public transportation. Everyone at airport is forced to take high cost Taxi.
@ForTheRoadTravels
@ForTheRoadTravels Год назад
Hola, thank you for watching and commenting. We actually noticed buses from the Airport in GLD that says "Aeropuerto" on the lateral sides of the bus. We took Uber because we went straight to Ajijc. Nevertheless, if you are travelling with lots of luggage this can be an inconvenience. The best option will be Uber but this can be a bit pricey if you are on a budget.

We totally agree! However the ADO from Cancun Airport are not that bad and there are about 12-15 USD and takes you straight to PDC 🙌

@TheGdlvegas 11 месяцев назад
That's because the Guadalajara airport is outside of the city, and the Mexico city airport is within the city, but now the Guadalajara airport is in a big remodelation and big changes that the Jalisco government is going to to build a BTR to the airport that have to be ready for the 2026 soccer world cup, and maybe mexico city is better to visit but Guadalajara is better to live in.

Plus you have Tlaquepaque, Tonala, Chapalita, Americana (the coolest neighborhood in the world in 2022), Providencia, Barranca de Huentitan, the Zoo which is the best and largest zoo in Latin America, etc. So no sure how did you do Guadalajara! 😉✌

@@ForTheRoadTravels i understand that you don't support zoos, but not everything is bad about them! I mentioned it because it's more than just a zoo which makes it a great place. No trying to start a debate, and I based my opinion on your video and comments I read. It's like saying I don't like museums so there is no much for me.. or I don't like libraries...etc... I guess just the way it was presented made it look like the only thing going on is the historic center plazas around the cathedral. But I'll check you guide later. Feliz fin de semana✌
