- Dennis
I loved I’m from Mexico, now living in the Bay Area CA Thanks for educating us on some of the marvels of Mexico Sorry that you had a taste of the corrupt Mexican police Be safe ❤️🇲🇽
Good morning! Thank you for another Mexican tour of this location!! Wow...I can see why my boss's wife did a trip there; what you highlighted was incredible. My wife's aunt, who is an artist, used to spend a good chunk of the year there. It got a bit too popular for her, so she started going to the Oaxaca area. They all look great to us and we look forward to touring there one day. Safe travels!!
Loved it there... Lunch was great and the customer service outstanding. I love the purple tinted teeth! True wine taster! We are back in the USA now but should be in Mexico again in July.
The oldest winery in the American continent is Casa Madero in the magical town of Parras de la Fuente, Coahuila. In 2020 Casa Don Leo in Parras won the award of best cabernet sauvignon in the world!
After last weeks episode, this was so well deserved. The luxury of it all. Fabulous. Some would say decadent, I call it a reward for the hard work and long hours traveled. Sharing time with friends is a bonus and enrichment to one's life. Safe travels, keep smiling and see you both again next week. 👍 🎥 🌷 🙋♀️
This is why I would never drive a car in Mexico and I've been living here for years. I lived in San Miguel de Allende for many years and didn't need a car. Taxis are 50 or 60 pesos anywhere you want to go and rutas are 8 pesos.
Oh yeah, Tres Raices and Mayan Baths are MUST DO's for us now! I could have soaked in those pools and drank bloody marys until they had to kick me out, lol. - Dennis
when you mentioned the name of the winery, Tres Raices, I think the word "raices" means estates. You said it means, routes, but I think rutas means routes in Español. Maybe y'all can edit that, but no biggie. Great video! Thanks for sharing you're experiences. Vayan con Dios!
HI guys, another great video. If you like wines, we should have some when we meet. Gary was too funny! If the border re-opens we will try meeting you somewhere sometime! We will miss Mexico Mondays but will continue to watch your adventures!
Wow, 280 USD for a Full Blood Panel in Mexico? That's very expensive. Back in 2019 I paid for the same Blood Test 600 Pesos, and the Nurse went to collect the samples at the place I was staying. 600 Pesos in those days was the equivalent of around 30 USD, at current rates, it would be around 35 USD. I also paid 2000 Pesos for a full body CT Scan, or around 116 USD. The only difference is it was done in a non touristy minor city, not in one of the most expensive cities in Mexico. Cheers
This is like a fulllllllll blood panel. I priced it out for the USA cost and it was over $1,000 for everything we tested for. It's not like the run of the mill one. I'd say prices for the super basic on was quite affordable atill
@@EatSeeRV As mine was. Full Blood Panel. It's been a few years, but I don't think it would be that much different now. But, once again, it was done in a minor city, no tourists around. That might've been the difference. Cheers dude 😎
WoW.... $850 for blood work in the US. That is so expensive. So glad we have universal health care in Canada. I hope your results are what you hope for. Take care and safe travels.
wonderful episode! Would you say San Miguel is probably one the most friendly/easy transitional cities for an american expat to live in Mexico? Your vids just keep getting better and better
Thank you. I think that's all relative. San Miguel has a large expat community and has a more Mexican feel to it than the Riviera Maya, but no big box stores etc. I do think it's a relatively easy kick off point though.
I lived in San Miguel for many years. My mother owned a house there and to me it's one of the best places to live in Mexico. It's been voted by Conde Nast magazine as one of the best small cities in the world to live and retire.
OMG! I'm adding that spa to my bucket list. I'm thinking of having a bridge made in Cancun, 6K in the states, 1-2K in Cancun. They see you first thing Monday am and Friday afternoon.
Hello, I am wondering what lab you used to get the blood test and what test was that seems to be a full test, any doctor recommendation in weekend? Is the lab open in weekend? Thank you in advance. Beatriz from Vancouver
Thank you guys for a wonderful Mexico trip. You showed the good and the bad and gave us an honest opinion of Mexico. I hope the trip back to the border goes well and be happy, you have marmalade to trade instead of money with those highway bandits. Hahahahaha Stay safe. ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!
🤣 That's a great idea! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed traveling with us through Mexico! It was a roller coaster, but we would/will do it again. - Dennis
Another wicked awesome video!!! Very different from the last stress filled video!!!! Vineyard tours are the best!! Lots of fun vineyards in Michigan!! I did like how Liz gave the crooked cop a little what for in the last video!!!
@@EatSeeRV My favorite vineyards? I live in Michigan so I have a few!! Fenn Valley in West Michigan is my local favorite. Some of the best ones are up in the Traverse City area. Hard to go wrong with any of them!!! Blackstar Farms is good. But truthfully I usually just do a wine tour, hit 3 or 4 and let someone else do the driving!!
if you are in San Luis Potosi close to matehuala check Hacienda El Gogorron another paradise Thermal waters o by the way my name is Enrique Kincaid and I follow you guys since 3 years ago + and I love your videos
Wow thank you for the tour and info and for taking us to such a beautiful place love the Mayan bath now that is a real treat as well. just stay hydrated ' and have fun on your journey home.
Debieron haber tomado los nombres in número de oficiales y reportarlos , eso no se hace , si les dan mordida eso nunca va a parar También pueden ir al website the el Estado de Guanajuato y poner una queja 😡
Thanks so much for this. I've been to San Miguel once, loved it, and had no idea about some of these places. Your vid makes me want to return even more. Wonderful!
Glad you enjoyed the San Miguel vlog! We've been twice and I feel like we haven't even scratched the surface. We will definitely have to make a return trip ourselves. We found out there is a ton of interesting pre-colonial history (ruins ect.) not far from the wineries we visited. - Dennis
You just convinced me Canada is the best place to live. I was looking at Mexico or Costa Rica. In Canada out blood tests are covered. I was just diagnosed with a blood cancer, Jak2 Mutation and need blood work monthly. I’d be broke in America. I’m also curious if I can get my daily chemotherapy pills in Mexico or Costa Rica. I laugh at drunk giggling you. 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷 🍷🍷 🍷 🍷
Was very intrigued to see you with Mexican postcards. Just returned from a delightful 25 days in Mexico including the highlight of San Miguel de Allende and couldn’t find a postcard anywhere in the country! Where did you find yours?
I bet wine tasting day was a whole bunch better than those drive days on the last video. At least at the one place your wine didn’t taste like bug spray. 🤪. We will be confused for the rest of the week because Mexico Monday was on a Tuesday.
Love the footage of the wineries and baths. Strongly considering moving here as a single mother with two small ones. Where did you encounter the corrupt cops in the beginning of this video?? Thank you so much for sharing
@@EatSeeRV I just saw your video of Real de 14 and I am sorry to tell you that if you don't take the Willis tour and the abandoned "old" town your visit to Real de 12 does not count as a visit, is like visiting Chiapas without going to Palenque or Cañón del Sumidero, that simply doesn't work that way :D :D
Another great video. Don't get intimidated by 1 or 2 viewers complaining about you showing the "bad of Mexico", defend your content or just ignore the complains. The kennons are not intimated, they even make fun👍 of the Spanish accent of some Mexicans.
Please have video showing their faces, we have to end bad cops one at the time, your husband was using his cell phone for any reason? hopefully you didn't give him any money and report them.
