Lucky Mexicans. Here in Brazil, PSAs are cringe worthy animations or comics that actually makes you want to do the opposite of what they teach you.

The "Vive sin drogas" ad did its job for me, I got the message seeing that creepy addicted kid. I don't remember being traumatized by it like others, though.

I'm from Los Angeles and a Chicano. But I also lived in Mexico back in the late 90's, early 2000's. That first commercial with the radio host talking over those old 70's, 80's radio sounds was truly a matter of paranoia if you found yourself in the middle of the night awake. I can't believe RU-vid actually age restricted it last time. Although it's a lil creepy I didn't think anything about it should have been age restricted.

"Vive sin drogas" traumatized me as a kid,i could barely even watch the channel because i was so scared they would air the add,one time i was at an aunt's house and we were sitting on the table to eat,they turned the TV one and of course the damn commercial aired,i only got below the table covering my ears for like two minutes until i was sure the commercial was over,and the last time i ever watched the commercial on TV was one time i was watching The Emperor's New Groove,i was sceptical about watching it because i was afraid the commercial would air,but of course they saw the chance to air it during a children's movie,i just buried myself under my blankets so i could block any sound until it was over (didn't have a TV remote so i didn't have the chance to turn the TV off),reason that was the last time i ever saw the commercial in TV is because i stopped watching TV Azteca for years,it took a long time before i regained my trust on watching the channel again,i didn't even know there was a second version until i decided to face my fears and search it on RU-vid. Nowadays the commercial while it doesn't scare me anymore i still feel unconfortable watching it.

bro I'm loving this content, you should definitrly make a video about "casos de la vida real". A really twisted soap opera that for some reason aired in family time. Its approach to sensitive topics always made me uncomfortable. Many of the stories they'd tell showed innocent and indefense people facing the worst fate. Like the writers were showing how rotten mexican society is, and saying like "deal wiv it" haha
