Yes you were very lucky indeed. As a reactor the saddest part is we didn’t get to his music before he passed, so he didn’t get to hear us say how good his music is. Make sure you and all your friends subscribe like and share everything MF Doom, and all his aliases, ever did to support his family ✌️😎😎✌️
Every week it's mystery meat and seaweed stew...WE NEED FOOD! He wears a mask just to cover the raw flesh. A rather ugly brother with flows that's gorgeous. Man, there was just no one like DOOM. He was like this enigmatic rap Dr Seuss that could say things that sounded non-sensical but had incredible patterns of technical rhymes and then you'll later realize he was speaking in code and it all made sense. I love and miss the man.
I could tell you guys were blown away when he dropped that line: “ A rhyming cannibal who’s dressed to kill and cynical, whether is it animal, vegetable or mineral” It’s like you’re listening to someone who has transcended beyond human.
I wanna thank y'all for having your platform. I know you do all sorts of reactions, but man, DOOM was such a huge influence in life so it's really dope to see people hearing a DOOM track for the first time cause it just takes me back to the goosebumps I got and jaw dropping moments he gave me when I 1st heard the shit. Keep it going. You know another artist who is just insane to me??? LUPE FIASCO!
DOOM used an SP-303 for sampling during this time, its a very small portable sampler which he was put on to by Madlib and J Dilla. You should checkout Madvillainy, an album by MF DOOM and Madlib considered one of the best hip hop albums of all time.
Wrong G. He sampled it from Spider-Man Cartoon episode called Canon of Doom. Check it out. It might be up here. I use to watch those cartoons consistently back in the day. They use to play that particular beat sample on Spidey and his Amazing Friends to.
Another impeccable reaction. Can you two cool dudes do a reaction to a very rare track called "After You Die" by Rakim, produced by Dr. Dre. The project was abandoned due to creative differences, but this is a slice of what may have been. The name of the album was going to be called Oh My God. I think you'll both dig it. Peace.
