I finally got my pedals they made me fly 1000% better, I've never had the ball centered so well... and helicopters now are pointing where I want instead of swaying back and forth +/- 20% ... Upgraded from thrustmaster TFRP... smooth, not adjustments needed the MFG crosswind v3 are legit and I'm so happy with them
Just received my pedals. Beautiful, meticulously engineered, utterly smooth and silent in operation, and most importantly, exceptional and hugely adjustable feel. If the price seems like a lot to spend on pedals, all I can say is that the Crosswinds are the best value peripheral I've ever owned, and I've finally managed to fly a helicopter in X-Plane. Don't hesitate.
Just received my pedals here in Norway, just in time for the winter snow to lock me up in my computer room against my will (I swear!). What a great coincidence! Already loving the construction and feel of them, I'm sure they'll work great when I plug them in, in a couple minutes. Thanks for your great product!

Got my pedals a few days ago. Just got the chance to set them up. Quite a significant upgrade from my old Saitek Proflights and most likely the last rudder pedals I will ever buy. Solid construction with configurability out the wazoo. The length of the pedals is about an inch longer than the Saitek PF pedals fully extended .. so if you have big feet that's a plus.. and since the angle and tension on the pedals is adjustable you can pretty much get it where you want it across the board. My only beef, which is minor but I am mentioning it, is that unlike the Saiteks or the CH pedals, which both have the pedals inside the area of the base, on these pedals the pedals themselves extend outside the area of the base and the base is more of a Y configuration than a square configuration so so when you put one foot on a pedal it tends to tip over until you get the other foot on.. For me this is a minor problem which I intend to rectify myself with a trip to home depot and a few bucks to get something to place along the base in the front by where my heel and the bottom of the Y is to add stability. This is not a major issue and based on the quality of the work it would not surprise me if these pedals started coming with a slightly different design on the base.. Other than that these pedals are fantastic and in spite of that they are more than worth the $$$ I spent on them. After having flown with them in IL2, CoD, DCS (no helos though) and IL2 BoS I can honestly say that for any simmer who is more than a caual simmer or any simmer who wants to buy once and be done as far as rudder pedals go.. These are the pedals you want. if you have a apir that is long in the tooth like i did.. make the inc=vestment inthe last pedals you will ever need now while they are still being made. if I had to rate these pedals on a 1-5 basis with 1 being garbage I would have to give these pedals a very solid 5. I have owned both CH and Saiteks.. and these pedals are just in an entirely different league than anything else on the market.
I remember how excited i was when postman brought me these. It was like christmas! These are my first pedals and it took me a while to get used to fly with pedals but these are worth every penny. Flying especially with WW2 planes and helicopters is a lot better. Great, accurate pedals and very adjustable. 390€ is very reasonable price for these.
Bought these pedals on Thursday, got them today what wonderful delivery time, sooner than expected and I am SOOO excited to try them out!!! Keep hearing nothing but the highest praise for these pedals thanks for the video!
Yes! I just received mine. BEAUTIFUL craftsmanship, I kid you not. The packing was pretty good, even after shipping to the US (though I ripped through the styrofoam for fun). Assembly is easy. Proud to own serial number 1968!!

My V3 Pedals are on the way and I'm really looking forward to them. In parallel I've ordered Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Stick & Throttle. Lot's of money but I think one of the best equipment for the new Flight Simulator.
Have received my pedals, excellent stuff and a big improvement over my CH Pro pedals. Just a few minor remarks: 1. some of the threads required an effort to get the screws in 2. the calibration video seems to show an older version of the calibration tool, and I did not find any video explaining the added fields in the new version. 3. DPD's ERP seems to have a problem with Croation characters. The "Č" in Čarolija was replaced with some hieroglyphic in the SMS they sent to announce the delivery 4. the wall spacers are far too short for my setup. I screwed the pedals onto a 18mm furniture board to provide spacing and added weight so the pedals don't tip over when I set just one foot on one pedal.
Hi Hans and thank you for your comments. On your concerns I'd be free to answer : 1. It is possible that there was some glue residue in the nuts on our last batch of pedals, and therefore you had to use some stronger force to get the screws in - in other words ...force the glue residue out :-) We improved that now. 2. We published a full and complete user manual for new version of software. It's inside software package, and it explain all the fields you might use and beyond 3. huh...yes, I have to be careful when we ship pedals to replace all special characters with regular english ones ( Finnish, Croatian, Spanish... but we can't replace the sender in the system....I don't think it's that much of a problem that Our Courier misspelled our company name when they sent you SMS message about delivery. I'd rather say that SMS is a nice feature of the Courier.. 4. We produced wall spacers for most common setups. Of course, it is impossible to make a design that will please everyone, and you did a right thing since pedals are best to be bolted on a large surface in any case :-) cheers Milan
Were looking around for good pair of pedals, and the word is there is no better then MFG Crosswind. Maybe I will put in an order, need some good pedals to go with the almighty Thrustmaster Warthog. These just looks like an engineering masterpiece. Maybe I can show them at our Star Citizen stand on Dreamhack this winter.
I would really prefer a version of this video without the crashed vocals. It's always better to use an instrumental track as backing if you're planning on talking over it.
I just received my set. Very nice and well packaged for shipping. Also surprisingly quick to the US. I have some beginner questions. 1. Does it matter if the tension spring is placed on the inside or outside indent on the rocker arm? 2. Does it matter if foot plates are installed closer in using the outside screw holes? 3. If I change the cam plate with number 4 will the unit need recalibration? I plan to stay with the factory set 20 degree pedal angle setting and am using Win 10. Mine came with a note stating firmware v 5.02 and to not use the Windows calibration. Thanks!

I'd send you e-mail if I knew which customer you are...but that I don't know from your youtube nickname :-) So here are answers : 1. That's actually a feature. If you go to our website, under product features you will see that. Outer notch ( indent) will stretch the spring more than inner one during operation, causing more progressive increase in force toward full deflection. So check whick setting you like more and adjust to your preference 2. If you purchased additional WAP than it's OK, that's feature to make pedals more narrow than standard one. However, without extra WAP adapter foot plates cannot be installed in such way because bottom side will rub against brake torsion spring, and foot plates cannot be tightened well. You can add your own spacer to sort out that problem if you know how. 3. No, but it is recomended because every time you install a CAM it will fit few micrometers differenty...and that slightly affect the center position. I say NO because it will most likely stay within tolerances and factory programmed deadzones....but I say Recomended because calibration is just soo simple.... leave pedals centered...click START...move rudder left/right....click STOP...and you're done.

Hey Milan, my left pedal seems to be a lot more difficult to push than the right. It's especially difficult towards the end with full left rudder. It's even noticeable when simply pushing both of the pedals with my hands at the same time and the left is definitely rougher. Any response would be appreciated!
@@MFGCrosswind That’s alright. It’s the rudder. It doesn’t seem as noticeable now after some tweaking so I’ll send an email if I still notice it or if bothers me. Thanks for the response anyway!
That is CAM4 centering profile which provide you with different feel of the rudder centering. Cam4 is more to simulate piston aircraft, while cam6 (fitted as standard) is more for airliners I suggest you read full cam description on our product page
im thinking of ordering one, i was wondering what are the policies involved with faulty products? im sure its extreamly unlikley with someone of your craftsmanship but say it was a bad chip or maybe some faulty connectors how would you go about replacements?
I understand your concerns ...and it's always possible to happen. However, we do test pedals before shipping so such cases mostly fall into shipping damage category, and are very rare. Of course, in such case we send replacement parts and instructions to replace free of charge. If the damage is beyond something end user can rapair we send replacement pedals ( never happened yet...to be honest :-) Warranty is 2 years, but we surely supply spare parts after warranty is over - at reasonable cost. We also have 30 day refund policy, but don't cover shipping expenses at our refund policy. regards Milan
thank you for the quick replies i have already gone an ordered one and am very excited to get this to go with a new warthog HOTAS i have also just ordered. gonna take some getting use too having rudders instead of the Z axis on a joystick but i confident its going to be worth it. currently own a saitek cyborg 3D gold and has been through extensive use for 17 years now believe it or not and still works lol. gonna miss it tho. but its time to move on
just replied to your e-mail...you should invert the brakes either in game or in MFG Configurator software...and "barely work" probably mean that you readjusted the angle of the pedals and therefore re-calibration of toe brake axis is mandatory ( by using MFG Configurator software).
I assume you ask for CAM4. It is alternative centering profile supply as standard. Pedals come preassembled with CAM6 which has a bit of a center notch. I suggest to read more about cam centering and exchange-able cam profile on our product page
I just got mine today and they look amazing. Really solid! By the way... Im going through the installation process and when I downloaded the files and extracted them, my Anti-Virus picks up one of the files named, diview.exe as a threat and it removes it. Do you know what that is for?
diview.exe is rather old but still usefull tool made by logitech for inspecting windows calibration of any joystick devices, including our pedals. Your antivirus report is false Enjoy your pedals and thank you for your purchase
I guess you mean CAM4 centering profile. It's supplied standard with pedals. Default is CAM6 installed which is more of an airliner CAM with stronger center detent and more linear force toward end of motion. CAM4 is more of like single engine piston aircraft with weak center detent and different progressive curve. You can also purchase 3rd CAM - CAM5 which is more realistic single engine piston centering profile. Read more about it from PDF that you can find on our product webpage
MAAAAAN you spend 3/4 of the video showing how to screw 5 bolts in... then in a hushed voice, quieter than the music you kind of jump to the software bit, which TOTALLY DIDNT WORK Windows 10 just immediately grabbed it and did all its shit before i could do anything... WHY isnt there more of a warning here... Pedals seem brilliant but PLEASE sort that video. speaking as someone who knows little about computers ... i'm now sat here wondering what to do now that windows 10 has auto done what you said not to..
Video is a bit outdated since we upgraded pedals a bit both mechanically and a lot on a software side. We can't really keep up with all the upgrades we do and publish video each month.... or maybe we should stop perfecting our product ? :-) It's a joke, of course. On Win10 side of things... windows just automatically install plug and play HID driver,... dunno what's the problem there... - on our video side, I agree with comments regarding music and my quiet voice, and that video needs a bit updating due to many upgrades on the product. For the bolts ... there are customers with various skills so we need to show instructions step by step... most of our customers don't even watch the video as it's really simple to assemble and use software.
