Price negotiations kese karni he isme? Aur ek qs i aaked both mg and dealership have no answer. Qs ye h k agar 3 4 saal baad range 180 se gir ke 120 ho gya to company kya karegi? They have no answer. I even showed some owners comments in fb they are suffering after 1 or 2 years company not replacing the battery. They deny to give battery health report also. Upar se unka 60% 3 years buyback also not so good deal because in that case also u need to drive 45000 km in 3 years atleast. They should have given buyback 60% in 5 yers.
Mr. Mohanty, Your apprehensions regarding battery life and changing it after it depletes are natural. As battery cars in India are in its nascent stage, everyone is skeptical about its running life. If you recall the Nokia feature phone days and when touch phones entered the Indian or world market, everyone was doubtful over the working of touch and its battery life and today, everyone is carrying a touch phone and majority people are using these phones for atleast 5 years. Battery life is only affected 10% in phones, and the rest of the handset is working nicely depending upon the individual who uses the phone in a particular way. Moreover, Tata is selling their Evs for the last 3-4 years, and I haven't seen any video on battery depletion and any damage to the batteries for requiring any replacement. All over the world, companies are pumping billions of dollars in Evs, which means that they trust this technology and eye growth in the EV segment. Tesla owner (Elon Musk) became one of the richest men on Earth because of EVs. I own a diesel car for the last 7 years and burnt diesel worth over Rupees 450000/_ and above it polluted the air. Atleast, now I am not going to emit pollution by driving EV. These are mere fears generated by negativity born in our mind and by some skeptical people. MG Comet's price is Rupees 6,99,000, which is non-negotiable. Then comes Car Registration charges, which are also non-negotiable, only on insurance and accessories, one can push for some discount. Now, let's come to Gaurantee of battery, I am a rationalist and believe that when our life cycle is unwarranted and not guaranteed, what to expect from materialistic commodities,although Comet ev comes with 7 years battery warranty or 100000 kms. This car will return its value when driven for these many years. Today, the world needs non-polluting transport vehicles to save the environment. Although electricity is produced by burning coal or other fossil fuels but still we will have cleaner environment by using EVs. In my town, thousands of 3 wheelers running on petrol and diesel are emitting black soot and carbon in the air, which was choking everyone. But for the last couple of years, 90% of the 3 wheelers have been replaced by battery run vehicles. And believe me, there is a big drop in air pollution . @@billysingh thank you sir. And I really appreciate the way you responded back with such a nice explanation. I dont have any issues with EVs. Actually i bought a ev scooter from pure EV with 5 years warranty for my dad 65 year old. 2 years it went well since then for last 1 year the range dropped from 80 to 20 now and most of the time my dad has to pull it to home as it suddenly stops. Being a electrical engineer i am aware these batteries are not so faulty because when i do battery balancing again range becomes 65 and then after some charge cycles it comes down to 20. My total running is just 6000 km. Anyways its an electronic device so it can happen but problem is how the companies treating customers and assuring warranty. In my case i have warranty but company is not replacing saying its due to poor charging at my home. While i have a samsung s 9 plus i am using since 2018 till now is in good condition. So definitely fault is in bms. Similar issue i saw in local dealer when a couple of customers asked for battery health as their range dropped by 50% in 1 year. So its the company how it treats the customer and resolves the issue. I was planning it for my mom and wife for city usage hence a bit worried on customer service. Otherwise nothing has any guarantees 😊 Anyways huge respect for your response sir. 😊
