since its a chinese brand car we dont know if the range and odometer reading it shows is correct. Chinese car show false odometer readings. Even if the car ran only 150 kms it can show you 170 kms. Even in such ride tests you can't test it unless you compare it with another car with analog odometer.

No one will spend 8 lakh on car just usable for city only and that too with no boot. As there are cheaper car under 6lakh like celerio and alto which can be usable for city and highway purpose both. Plus 0-100 of mg comet ev is 32 seconds (tested by v3 cars) . Power of 41 bhp is tooooooo low for 8 lakh price tag. It looks like a toy , rickshaw-like shape. And tiny wheel.. My activa had biggerwheels than that.

This car costs 8 lacs. Doesnt support fast charging at all. Also this is comfortabke for 2 persons. Why not spend 1 lac more and get a complete car. Also safety is a big queation mark on this matchbox. This would have been okay if it costed around 5 lacs.

nah its Wuling mini EV at 4500 USD not wuling Air EV which is comet. Wuling Air EV is at 9700-11500 USD but battery pack is bigger 27-28 kwh thus real life 260-280 km range and higher variant i.e 11500 USD has DC fast charging with 10-80% in 45 minutes. They should have launched mini EV at 4500 USD or 4L around for India as at 8L people prefer tiago EV
Overall looks like a premium or high end autorickshaw or a golf cart... Could have worked great in cab market but the price is too high for that... Almost no boot space, rear seating only for 2 kids, slow acceleration and 8 lakhs for only the starting introductory price are huge drawbacks... Atleast I wouldn't consider buying this car... As mentioned by many others, Tiago EV is a much better package at the same price... More options should come soon in few years from Maruti and Hyundai at the same price... The only audience I can think for this car are the rich ones who want to travel near by their home or office for groceries or other minor tasks in something very compact but don't want to do that on a 2 wheeler... If MG can release a version under 5 lakhs on road with the same range than this product can be a hit...
Tiago ev price starts from 8.69 ex showroom and this car starts from 7.98 lacs, and by calculation this is not 4 lacs difference, please correct urself, moreover tiago can accommodate 5 people but in comet even 4 people cannot sit comfortably

MG is cheating it's customers, when I went to MG showroom for a test drive they showed me the top end plush variant and said it's price is Rs.7.98 lakhs ex-showroom and I can book the car. Now I came to know that the base model is Pace which comes at that price and it doesn't have half of the features wat we are seeing in this video. Such horrible marketing tactics. The one shown in the video is costing Rs.9.98 lakhs ex-showroom which means it goes Rs.10+ lakhs on-road and why on the earth someone will make a fool of himself for buying this at that cost. 1 week ago they didnt even revealed that they got 3 variants in this neither on MG official website too, but today we can see about them on it's site. How can MG think of Indian customers are so fools??? We do extensive research before we buy any new concept or product. This gives the clear red carpet to Tata Tiago ev. I'm literally pissed off because I almost booked this car considering I'm getting this fully loaded comet for Rs.8+ lakhs on road..which is reasonable although it's high on pricing. Thank God it was my frnd who saved me to take a week's time to plan the finances and they decide to buy it. RIP Mg comet...
