@@pittmotoring I’ve done 1000 miles in my MG5LR so far, including 300 mile each way holiday trip with roofbox, dogs, etc. As you said, window tints are a must have. It’s not flash, but £24.5k for top spec model (with the Affinity discount) it’s pretty unbeatable family EV.
@@campbellcopeland thats really good. How did you find it on the 300 mile trip. Obviously you'd have had to stop for a recharge. How do you find the charging time at home? Has it been working well for the sort of use you need the car for?
@@pittmotoring must admit, mostly short trips before, one 150 round trip with a 7kWh top up charge for an hour during lunch - didn’t really need but all free fast/rapid chargers in Scotland. Charging at home (Hypervolt) is fine as just topping up. 300 mile trip was two stops, starting 100% from home, about 100 miles each leg - 3 miles/kWh as loaded. Lucky at Southwaite as only one working CCS and no one there. MFG Crow Orchard impressive. Lancaster Park & Ride on way home should work well too. Sitting a 65mph on Adaptive Cruise Control and MG Pilot lane assist is stress free
Great review Ed, it’s mint you are reviewing new cars and this car hasn’t been covered a lot on social media so fingers crossed this gets a lot of views SEND ITTTTT
Nice review Eddie! I didn't think about the fact that not many car manufacturers aren’t doing electric estate cars - probably because everyone wants SUV's nowadays. It's okay value for money, but like you said, it looks pants at the front.
Suv's are everywhere lately. Yeah its the looks that will put people off I think, but no denying the fact that with the tech and the 250 mile range for the price, its pretty good.
Hi Raglan. I haven't for the zst, but I have reviewed the 1.5 non turbo. You can find my review here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MChxuLLnJyo.html
