Chaotic Gore Magala is a tragic beast. After a Gore Magala molts into a Shagaru Magala, it goes to the highest point in the environment it has chosen to molt in and releases a special strain of the Frenzy Virus on the land. This strain is harmless to all things except OTHER Gore Magalas. When THOSE Gore Magalas try to molt, the virus activates, stopping the molt and trapping them in this halfway state. The virus then goes to work, slowly consuming them and driving them mad. When not in the heat of battle, a Chaotic Gore Magala suffers from constant nausea, violent headaches, seizures and fainting. They will eventually die from this special Frenzy; but until they do, their life is one of ceaseless agony, and their pain will make them lash out at everything that moves. Similar to Afflicted monsters, slaying a Chaotic Gore Magala is an act of mercy. They could be captured in previous appearances, but perhaps that was an act of cruelty...
that is not the case. Gore molting into Shagaru while gradual in the beginning it accelerates until it can shed itself like a snake where everything just falls off. Chaotic Gore however is a result of there already being a Shagaru Magala in the area. Shagaru releases a more potent version of the Frenzy that can also infect Gore Magalas and stop them from molting properly. Chaotic has multiple roars depending on what state he is in. there is just the typical Gore roar, Frenzy Gore roar, and Frenzy Shagaru Roar.
@@BoostedMonkey05 I know that Shagaru preventing other Gore molting. I only mentioned it's CLOSE to molt. And both Gore and Shagaru have overhauled roars, and Chaotic Gore seems to have a similar one to Shagaru's Frenzy roar initially. We still haven't heard its full roar yet. It's just my assumption that Capcom purposely give Chaotic a frenzy roar similar to Shagaru to further express the tragedy of it: So close, yet so far.
@Stygian Dragon it just sounds to me like the typical gore frenzy roar which is to be expected since he does have two frenzy states like Shagaru in Sunbreak.
@@BoostedMonkey05 Yeah, but that's kind of weird because in the video posted by the MH JP twitter account, we can hear Gore's frenzied roar with Shagaru's mixed in.
