I like the detail of how Chaotic's beam is more frazzled and doesn't last as long compared to Shagaru. It's reaching for the adult's potential but can't maintain it. In turn, Shagaru doesn't bother attacking so wildly because it doesn't need to exert the extra effort.
Make sense too, since Chaotic is a Gore in extreme pain and agony that it will attack ANYTHING in "sight" just to somewhat vent its rage. It's a psychopath who has nothing else to lose. It's in a limbo where it can't neither go forward into Shagaru, nor can it return back into a normal Gore. It wants to just drop dead, but survival instinct kept it from just dying.
