Been trying to do this one for awhile. Timing of the events and luck on the quest prevented me fromgetting a decent run. Quite happy with my time for double tempered jho, tho! Great job with the hunt, Canta!
TA Switch Axe is the most impressive thing i can imagine in MHW! It´s like one of very few weapons that has nearly zero i-frames to work with let alone something like foresight slash or guard-points.
I rewatched the whole vid, nah man, you never got hit, you deserved a whole new trophy for that, waiting for your next run, some Kjarr weapon would be great !

switch axe the only weapon i dont have any idea how to use it, that what its called, charged blade? gone really fast, before the phial? recharge, the blade need to make red again, and i dont get how to use this weapon
How can I optimize this build? I mean, without havig to respect the TA rules, what can be added to be better? For exemple, is this the best switch axe or there is one better from the AT Kulve?
You could drop Evade Window in favor of more attack if you use Evade/Rocksteady mantle, other than that I can't really think of any way to get even more damage out of this tbh

Whenever I watch you or other great TA runner play Monster Hunter and get fast kill times, it always makes me sad that the games have never had ways of acknowledging skillful play as can be seen in this video. Imagine if standard quests had ranking systems the way arena quests did. Imagine if the TA ruleset was integrated with this imaginary ranking system. Imagine soloing Deviljho with a Switch Axe under 4 minutes with these TA rulesets gives you a big fat "S" ranking score at the end of a mission and rewarded you with extra loot (the same way arena quests do when you get S-ranks). I think that would make the game even more satisfying.

"Imagine if this single game had this specific reward system in these specific conditions so you can get 3 more dragon nails if you do the very same thing you just did but just a tad faster!" Does that honestly make you sad? Stop fucking idealizing fake meaningless goals in shit you can't even have any effect on (such as a shitty suggestion to a Triple A finished game) and go deal with your actual life.
When the game came out. I start to play in it with Switch Axe. And after couple days for some reason i dropped it. And play with now with almost all weapons except Switch Axe... I dont know why... I should go back and learn all moves with it. It look so fun. Even more fun than Charge Blade.
Amazing speed run against Jho too bad Rajang isn't in MHW I would like to see you battle against him. But Iceborne is in the horizon anything is possible.
It's necessary to roll through Jho's roar, other than that I'm not noticing a significant difference, I use it mostly because I had a free charm slot due to challenger being useless against Jho
