This is why I keep saying, COACHING MATTERS! Shanahan is running Laps around other OCs and it’s not even close. Watch SF and keep track of how many times they move BEFORE the snap. It’s double shifts, doubles motions…literally movement on at least 80-90% of plays. It’s difficult to play defense when you don’t know whats you coming! Watch Dallas on offense. No movement! SF sitting in the same defense. Not being forced to adjust or communicate whatsoever. Watch how defense are moving and talking when SF is on offense. That’s all part of Shanahan’s plan.

Shanahan and Ben Johnson are the two most interesting, creative and electric OCs in the league by far. Shanahan even used the same play last night that the lions scored on earlier in the day. Same exact play, the tight ends that scored even both went to Iowa that’s how identical the plays were. So fun to see

@@tigerhood6830 not a coincidence MIA is right there with SF in terms creativity. McDaniel comes from the Shanahan tree. Both teams exhibit heavy presnap movement forcing defenses to adjust on the fly and communicate.

Coaching definitely matters but to be honest, McCarthy is doing the right thing for the type of team he has. There really aren't great skill position players other than Cee Dee Lamb on offense. The wr's, te's, and rb's are good to solid but not great. The o line is struggling to stay healthy and keep their best five linemen on the field. It's probably a better run blocking personnel than pass blocking personnel but The Cowboys don't seem truly committed to running the ball and part of that could be that Pollard really isn't a true bell cow back. I really thought The Cowboys should have went all in and traded up for Bijan Robinson out of UT. The two losses The Cowboys have is mostly due to their vaunted defense being gashed by The Cardinals and Niners. Had the defense been better in those games, McCarthy could have stuck to the winning model. That is the "Cooper Rush" model. This style is the best path to getting to the SB with the current personnel. Get back to dominating on defense, get a win against The Chargers, and stack up more wins! It's October! Things are decided in Dec and Jan!! There's still time!

If a TE line up on a DE the TE has to touch the DE not just let him run free if a RG or LG pulls they have to touch the DE if there’s no DE while the guards a pulling they go to the LB.
