I had an engineering professor who used to joke about English majors because his daughter was one. She ended up getting a job doing technical writing for a company and made twice as much as he did as a professor. He was hilariously proud of her for monetizing that English degree.

Check out the podcast he did with Joe Rogan. I don't know did your a fan of JRE but this guy who I skipped over multiple times cause I thought he was gonna be a typical black guy comedian but no he is actually highly intelligent and a cool cool dude. I've been watching ever since I like him a lot now. If it hadn't been for that I'd never have stumbled upon this gem of a dude.

Well Rick I appreciate your interest in my comment and glad you took it so critically and seriously and made a clear point to analyze my grammatical preferences in a RU-vid comment but this use of an "extended" ellipsis was to serve the point of hyperbole to poke fun at the fact that an English major can be seen as useless thus this punctuation further exemplifies my acknowledgement that many feel this way. That was a run-on by the way.... Oh and I used this "extended" ellipsis ironically just now, oh and an "extended" ellipsis isn't actually a thing.

One time I was ordered to clean out my dad's office, not sure why this was my job, but eventually I did it. And came across all the letters they had been sending each other while he was out of town. To this day I still wish so badly my curiosity hadn't gotten the best of me. There were printed photos. Like that you had to go have printed at a store.. that poor photo developer and I share a very sad bond.

A lot of great thoughts in this talk. Should there be qualifications to vote?(e.g. owning land, having a degree, being a born naive, etc.) Who should be qualified and how do we decide? Should every citizen be required to learn politics, or is that superfluous? Is an English degree worth $80,000? What's the average global salary (and utility) of English teachers worldwide (maybe teaching people to be bilingual)? Who does Sprint owe money to? Also, very funny👏😂
