I also think of Michael as a role model, because we have a lot in common. Like me, he was born out of wedlock, raised by his mother & grandmother, got in trouble a lot for being hyperactive (I actually think he may have had ADHD, which I also have), & he was also horribly bullied in school. It was his role as the Phantom which introduced me to the world of theater, showing it as a way of escaping all the drama & pain I was going through. I'll always be grateful to him for that, & I hope to thank him for it one day.

As a student in London in the early 70's Michael Crawford was one hell of a comedian. I liked him along with Benny Hill. I am glad I saw this on youtube. I will continue to enjoy the links when I can. He is a Genius. Made me laugh all the time. Hope is well.Was he knighted for his comedy Gemunu de Silva
I have followed figure skating for a long time and I remember that program by Torvill and Dean. I had no idea that he choreographed it! That's amazing.
This is a wonderful video; can Michael be anymore naturally charming or funny? He was just wonderful in WOZ; I wish it would come out on DVD, but I'm sure that will never happen. The clips are amazing - and how neat is it to be able to see Michael as a boy?
He’s basically half Irish - which means he automatically came from a showbiz family - it’s in our genes! I don’t know a single person here who CAN’T sing, play at least one musical instrument and/or dance! Most can do all three! 🇮🇪
