Unbelievable this guy Richard is unhinged sometimes but this was his worst call ever. This was hysterical the first time I listened to this on The Michael Kay show and it was so funny how all three of them were crushing him saying this is why you are still single because he is so impatient and just cuts people off at random times. I wonder if they will really go through with the proposal of banning him for a week?
Richard can be inpatient all he wants with them. They’re always rude to callers and Kay is just ridiculous with how he defends the dumb decisions the Yankees make. He finally came to his senses today and said clay holmes is not it
This guy made no sense obviously you bring in your closer my problem however is why did Boone keep in Holmes when he’s sitting there watching not 1 not 2 not 3 to tie it up but 4 runs score to take the lead that is what’s mind boggling
You know it's rare I miss a Yankee game , I've seen Holmes walk himself into trouble to many times this year. Just because he has been lucky enough to get out of jams mostly 5:36 we celebrate how good this bullpen is. It's not that good, they've been lucky to escape to many jams this year. Weaver has been good I'm trying to think of any reliever who doesn't walk the first batter. I feel bad for the starters. I'm betting stroman didn't sleep Last night. Stop protecting these guys, if they are good I would hate to see a bad bullpen. 😊
Clown caller, clown comment. Holmes going into the game had a sub 1 WHIP. To argue that he constantly walks too many guys is absurd. He allowed fewer than one base runner per inning pitched.
@brianb7423 hate to admit it, but you're right. And in fact, I'm very surprised no team in MLB will reach 100 wins. Every bullpen looks like crap. And unless you're the Guardians with Clase, there's a chance to win
@@Relentlezz41 for sure. As of right now, I think Yankees get bounced in playoffs early. I would absolutely love to be wrong but they have such a horrid bullpen
@@Relentlezz41because when everyone has a bad bullpen it becomes more even than not So even the Dodgers having an Avenger like lineup arent ‘good’ enough to make it to 100 wins because of their relievers
I’ve seen Michael and Don (not sure about Peter) yell at callers saying “answer the question, yes or no.” I love the show but lately it’s seems like it’s going downhill.
That was the weakest softest rally ever. I bet after that game and losing the next day fans were starting to think here comes the losing streak. Well they win the next 2 to split the series and take first one out in SD. Newsflash. This team is REALLY good
