… in case anyone’s wondering, when they all chant in unison in the middle, they’re counting “one, two, three, four!” but in Irish. “A haon, a dó, a trí, a ceathair!”
When this opened in London, I was watching on TV as they showed parts of it . Told Mr husband we had to go see it when it comes to NY. He said , you don’t have wait let’s go to London , we did and it is the best show I have ever seen !
@@JonnyTheLeprechaun i have no idea what you talking about he is great charming. and what he did with lord of the dance. is great. and not forget riverdance in the beginning. everyone can have his own opinion.
My wife and I had the immense pleasure of meeting Mr Flatley and his family after a Carly Paoli concert in Cadogan Square, two tears ago. What a gentleman he was. I asked him politely if he would join myself and my wife Teresa for a photograph and he said yes. Forever a legend in my eyes. Thank you again Michael.
@@susanjaskulek4280 Why didn't he interview him briefly? N Sorry Susan, think the boys look UK, u reckon. The video was grainy. Or odd. I never watch this Colbert guy, he is an unknown outside of USA island S
Omg, he must be in his 60s by now and still keeping up with those 20 somethings..what endurance, he is an incredible performer of a beautiful art form.
My mom loved these guys when I was a kid in the ‘90’s and I was so embarrassed. But I’m 30 years old now, and this is just hypnotizing. Say what you will, there’s thousands of hours of practice under all of their belts.
I read somewhere that after his regular performances, he had to have his feet immersed in ice. Also his boots replaced. He is a fantastic dancer and I was able to see him dance in person!
I must have first seen one of Michael Flatley's shows on PBS - I don't remember where else I could have seen it - and I've loved his talent ever since. I love that he caused the world to love Irish dancing and gave all of the dancers in his shows opportunities to work and show their talent. He deserves all of the great things that have happened for him.
....Не понимаю, у кого рука "поднимается " поставить дизлайк. Была уже два раза на представлении, душа замерает. СУУУПЕР !!!!! КЛАССНЫЕ РЕБЯТА ! ! ! ! ....
He's really getting on in years but still has a strong stage presence. I understand that people hate him, especially those who learn from him because he only demands absolute perfection, anything less than that is not fair to him. Conclusion like many other (geniuses) Humanly rather reprehensible or dirty but artistically an exceptional talent.
Absolutely brilliant. Michael Flatley is a true legend. I could watch him and Riverdance all night. What a great talent and a brilliant performer. The whole crew are amazing. Well done Michael.

Первый раз при просмотре шоу Майкла Флетли испытала такое возбуждение от силы, красоты, ритма , что не смогла больше забыть. Прошли годы, а этот первобытный зов не стал слабее. Браво!
Reminds me of the great talented Gene Kelly Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers ... & so many others. Yet, I just love this tribal vibe of this group. Oh! The finale, so much fun! lol

I was a child and danced in the hall with you when I was 5-6 years old on Pulaski in CHICAGO in the VFW hall. ☘️ Happy St. Patrick’s Day. The dance teacher was Nora Gardner.
@@dalesawyer2509 You just provided clarity on a particularly joyful, mostly pain-free night dancing, and the excruciating price i paid later... OW. And thanks. Doing better lately. Signed, Born to Dance
