There was so many red flags from Franzese when talking it was ridiculous. He showed he was extremely sexist by thinking it’s okay for men to be promiscuous but not women. He was not able to answer vlad about what parts of the Bible he values most. He has no proof of any existence of a God and he disregards that there have been thousands of different gods throughout history. For Franzese to say he is not religious while having bible scriptures tattooed on his arms is hilarious. Also he goes out of his way to promote his religion and his view of it. He is definitely religious. He just does not like the idea of being perceived as fanatically about it. A lot of the time it is the most uneducated and ignorant people who are the most religious and God fearing, along with former criminals or people who lacked stable parenting while growing up. But it is very common for former criminals to present themselves as religious and reformed as a way to look like they are different from their past ways. Religion is often used to control the masses into following specific guidelines written by man. Evolution has proven evidence, while religion goes off blindly followed ancient scriptures that some people refuse to question the accuracy of it all.

Franzese did a good job defending Christianity without being judgmental. The question I asked in 2010-2011 when I came to Christ was simple. Humans have a lot to say about this God question. But what does God have to say? When I sought the answer, I found Him.

I find that Religion is like wealth, it empowers you to become more of who you always were. That's why there are lots of religious, holier than thou assholes, but there's also many amazing people, like my grandma RIP, who are helping at the soup kitchen every week, constantly give to charity and live to help others
That’s a good way to look at it. At the end of the day it’s a justification for you how live (whether you’re a good person or an awful one) and it’s a cute idea to tell yourself or your kids when faced with the reality of mortality
religion is what keeps society from devolving into an animalistic jungle. if religion didnt exist, them homless niggas natural animal insticts would tell them to beat the shit out of your grandma (no disrespect, may she rest in peace) and everybody else and take all the food in that soup kitchen for themselves🤷♂🤷♂

Life is Subjective, your journey is YOUR JOURNEY. It’s not about forcing your views on others. It’s about doing what works best for you. If you’re a Christian be a Christian , if you’re atheist be an atheist. At the end of the day. You must believe in what resonates with you, as long as you’re growing, learning, and living in alignment with who you truly are. That’s all that matters. What works for you might not work for others… and that’s ok
That sounds good but the fact is that all religions contradict each other. Christianity teaches that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way, and those that reject Christ (everyone that isn’t a Christian) are going to hell. If I, as a Christian, genuinely believe this to be the case then I am supposed to “push” my religion on others because I don’t want them to go to hell.

I understand Vlad's point of view and respect Neil's viewpoint. I relate to that. But there are a lot of things in everyone's lives where they had a feeling about something that was correct. I wouldn't try to convince someone to adopt a belief they don't connect with. But "Knowing" is experiential. If I asked "Hey Vlad prove your grandfather that was alive around 300bc ever really existed." He wouldn't have pictures, no written record and no physical "evidence" that his grandfather existed. He would simply say "Well how do you think I got here?" Or "I'm here aren't I." So that's all the evidence you need? For someone you've never seen or touched? YOU, just existing, gives you an assured belief that your grandfather existed and Lead to your creation...and you're right.

This is where I jump off with Christianity and being born again and with the topic of forgiveness...It can't be that easy to do alot of undermining and horrible things throughout your existence and simply Ask for forgiveness later on in life, when time is winding down for you, and then, be forgiven....There should be a punishment, and that means myself included...I want the punishment for my bad actions, cuz I deserve it , and lessons are learned thru a rigorous punishment phase, and I don't think too many ppl can say what I just said....and that's FACTUAL 💯
there is no punishment nigga lmaoo. this is why jail exists. bc everyone knows that "gods gonna punish you" aint real. niggas invented him so ppl in society would be scared to do wrong
It's not complicated. If you're a bad person and ask for forgiveness just in case there really is a God that's not gonna work. You would have to be truly sorry and repent for everything bad you've done. A hail Mary right before you die isn't gonna work. If you're an evil person you're going to hell and if you're a good person you have a chance at heaven.
@jeffreyval9665 and what do the victims get for such horrible acts against them?? What?? I'm sorry?....Not good enough...the Old Testament was much closer to what I believe in....and that's FACTUAL 💯
This born again nonsense is comical to me , because to be truly born again is to go back inside your mother's womb and do a retry at life again, and we know that is impossible and being baptized by another imperfect human ( pastor or priest or whomever) doesn't make sense to me at all...So we're dealt the cards we're dealt and we either play those cards and go All in , or Fold....There is no start over....and that's FACTUAL 💯
@@Magnificent-qr4rn I guess it depends on the victims. Not all victims are good people. I'm not really into that born again Christian stuff either. If you're a relatively good person you'll be fine and if you're just a bad person there isn't really any repenting and you're gonna go were you belong.
