@@omreb9040 nothing wrong with doing research, in fact there’s many instances where vlad’s research is inaccurate (which is a whole other issue) The issue is we are here to listen to Michael and his story and not to hear about how much Vlad already knows. Saving that job for my boy Nardwaur
I'm sure that's why he's still alive. He went to prison, backed out of the life, but never spilled the beans on anyone. And the Mob trusted him to keep his word not to do so.
@@wayneantoniazzi2706 Nope, he said in an interview that he is alive today because the rest of the crime bosses, etc. simply died of old age, so there is nobody left.
Mike is HILARIOUS!!!! My guy said "I was down in the ish for 20 Years!! I ainn NEVER knew THAT many people that had to go!!!"! 😂 He sounds TOO accurate!!! Bro makes it his business to , at the least, make SENSE when he speaks!!!
@Ali Jordan X I'm sure there's a way to beef with 200 people. But "getting the ok" 200 times is nearly unthinkable! It would make WAAAAY more sense, I think, for that number to be reached with the help of doing contract hits. Like all over the country. But beefing and killing 200 guys!?? Naaaaaah!!! Without bein noticed much sooner? I don't think so! But I am no mob expert! But u do have a PhD in Common Sense! So I know for a fact, that if folks knew you'd even killed "just" 100 people!? It'd be hard to get a PHONE CALL from somebody!!! They'd all be deathly afraid of you! And jus like Mike said!! Guys like that don't last long! I'm from a big city as well. The story is true there too! All the "big time", widely known killers get killed, eventually! For the same reasons! They'll either "take it too far". Or they'll actually scare a guy into killin them. Just to have an argument with someone like that, I'd personally, be thinkin about my life!! So more than likely, someone they're attempting to bulky or lean on, will get the "wrong message", and fear for their Natural Lives!!! And figure, "welp! I messed up this time! This guy's gonna KILL me!! May as well get him first!!!"! I'm no "man of the cloth" either. But the good book DOES say it's not very healthy for a man to be, either TOO TOO BAD, or TOO TOO GOOD! Roy DeMeo? Too bad! Bin Laden? Too bad! Martin Luther King Jr? Too good! Ghandi? Too good! All were hunted down and dispatched like animals!!! The criminal life is a certain death! Yet, everyday, there's a new recruit! Waitin to get noticed, and perhaps, drafted! Serve, only to lose their lives! Or livelihoods!
Yall are ALL dope!! Yall must enjoy Mr Fraceze like I do! You know like I know, that he seems to ALWAYS be on POINT!!!! Peace to all yall who upvoted the kid!✌🏿
The fact that Greg Scarpa and Roy DeMeo never had beef is sad. Two of probably the worst psycho serial killers in the history of the mob. It could have been the mob’s Kong vs Godzilla
I like to imagine a Crime Family with members like Greg Scarpa, Roy DeMeo, Tommy Karate, Nicky Scarfo, Gaspipe Casso, Vic Amuso, Mad Sam DeStefano, Tommy DeSimone, Tony Spilotro and Carmine Galante. 😂
I’ve read the Murder Machine book about Roy DeMeo’s crew. It’s brilliant, but relentlessy grim. Roy was killed by his own crew, too. The Gemini Twins killed him and put him in the trunk of a car.
Well the Gemini Twins, Senter and Testa, were told they're marked for death themselves but if they killed DeMeo, they would get a pass, and indeed the Gambinos kept their word and transferred them to the Luccheses under Casso who was a murderous psychopath himself.
Listen to Sammy the Bull instead of Michael Franzese & you’ll hear some great stories.Michael never knows anything or anybody. And all his stories you already know from documentaries.
@@RamsLakersDodgers I like them both and here's my unrequested opinion lol Michael doesn't have as many stories because he was an earner. The mafia used him for his earning talent but he needed people like Sammy to keep earning or some one would of stepped in. The part that bothers me is when Michael acts like he wasn't as bad as the others because he was an earner. The only reason he didn't go as far as Sammy is no one in they're right mind would allow it's bank roll to go to prison for murder or assault. Having taken the oath and not being an earner, he would of killed who they told him to as well so he's no better.
I've read about Roy a lot and I wish Netflix or someone would do a documentary on him. You couldn't do a movie on him without watering it down so a documentary is the best route. He's the head of class when it comes to mob psychopaths.
@@slayy51621Yeah, probably killing a bunch of nobodies over gambling/loan shark/drug debts, probably a ton of people that the Mafia wouldn't care/know about.
There was a guy who helped Roy called Joey Dracula who actually lived in the flat above the Gemini Lounge where they cut up all the bodies. Imagine living there.
@@Mil_Bixby That’s not true. They called him Dracula as he looked like Dracula. Google his picture. Also, the drainage bath was downstairs in the Gemini, Dracula lived in the flat above.
I love the way Vlad explains the Gemini method to a guy who was part of Cosa Nostra while Roy DeMeo was still around. That's like me telling you that the sky is blue! 😂
or when nino got shot, roy went into the hospital dug bullet out of his neck and replaced it with another to give the cops to make it look like someone else shot him.. LOL
This guy is very very smart, never incriminates himself, never reacts when things are brought up and never flaunts his exploits, he's a crook through and through the FBI don't get you for nothing but he's really smart.
What has he done to incriminate? He isn't suspected of any murders. Nobody informed on him for them. There is a statute of limitations. He didn't know Roy well.
Prison does that sometimes. I'm in my early 40s with a grandkid still look in my late 20s. Stress free environment, low exposure to sun, balanced diet. No smoking or drinking or drugs. Depends how you do your time.
That Crew was the most dangereous crew in US history. For anyone interested i would highly advice reading Murder Machine, great book. Gemini Lounge was like a death portal.
Vlad needs to grow how his return guests have over time. Everyone seems evolving except Vlad. Always seems to get excited by details and not lessons. Nothing wrong with the topics, but the questions limit a really great interview.
One of the main reasons demaio was killed was because at the time the big boss Castellano was indicted and on trial for being part of the car-theft ring that demaio was involved in and they were worried that when DeMeo eventually got picked up that he would snitch that was part of the reason they tried to get Gotti's crew to do the hit and God he was a little apprehensive about messing with Roy because he had such a strong team so Castellano got one of his main guys to recruit Anthony senter and Joey Testa and those two were the Gemini twins that you hear about and they were two of dimaio's most trusted guys and they killed him and then went to the Lucchese family until they got busted for murder and they're both in Federal Prison still to this day
Dicicco didn't recruit the twins. He talked to Gaspipe. Joey had a close friend who was close to Casso and in the Luchesse who acted as an intermediary. If you look at surveillance and who is always around Joey that isn't Anthony, you might figure out who. This comes from Frank Pergola.
Michael didn't really know DeMeo. You should have asked about Greg Scarpa instead. He was a close friend of Michael and was just as much of a serial killer.
Greg scarpa is dead I believe,,,there arent to many people around you can talk to him about roy... that was awhile ago..mike never said he knew Roy that well...they were in different families,,what your gonna hear about Roy nowadays is hearsay
@@RamsLakersDodgers noooo...lol...he just not divulge every detail about someone he is asked about,as is his right and he doesnt talk about things or people HE DOES NOT KNOW,,,as you SHOULDNT...that's not boring...its who he is,,,yall weird
Vlad asks Michael questions that makes him think twice before he answers, he ( Michael) knows the game for a long time for him to fall in Undercover Police Officer Vlad schemes.
Castellano was still relying on guys like Roy's crew and the Westies to do the murder work for the Gambinos for years. Even though he was a greedy, businessman-minded boss, he was still a ruthless killer as far as ordering hits whenever he felt like it. Castellano even ordered the hit of one of his daughter's boyfriends for making fun of him by comparing him to Frank Perdue as both were in the chicken business. So it's not out of the realm that Castellano was heavily relying on Roy and his crew to take out and dismember bodies all the time until Roy got too hot with the feds and like Micheal said, he was way too much of a wildcard with everything he knew. Roy was so dirty that Castellano always hesitated on inducting him as a made man for all the work he did for the family *precisely because* he was a serial killer-minded guy. There is no way he killed 200 guys, that's ludicrous, but I'm sure it's maybe up to 40-50 which is still a lot of guys.
Roy always had his reputation so there's no way people just keep meeting up with him, if Roy calls me to meet up, I'd simply say no Roy...I can't believe people are just falling for the same thing
They say Roy also worked for Hoover, rumors says he solved the Mississippi Freedom Riders Murders for the Feds, they pointed out the klansmen and Roy went to work.
@@alexanderpadilla7264 He was deranged, for sure. Sammy even recounted a story where they were sitting at a restaurant to eat, and Roy was observing the sitting patrons, much of them elderly folks, before randomly telling Sammy about how he wonders how fast he could kill everyone around them. Sammy was by all means a ruthless killer himself but shared that Roy was sick in the head and bothered him.
@@RamsLakersDodgers That's because he was a white collar gangster! A racketeer! Even though Sammy made a ton of money he was a legitimate blue collar guy who got things done kn the streets. Plus a lot of Sammies stories are highly embellished. They way all GREAT STORIES SHOULD BE!!!
@@gabevillarreal96 Sammy was in the trenches so that’s why his stories are believable.Michael’s involvement in LCN was gift wrapped by his stepfather Sonny.I mean the guy was in med school so he was a nerd🤷🏼♂️His stories I’ve already heard through documentaries.Sammy’s stories are ones you’ve never heard before.
@@RamsLakersDodgers I said the exact same thing in my previous post. Blue collar and in the trenches means the exact same thing. Regardless of how michael ended up, you can't deny he was a tremendous earner and you have to have smart guys in the mob. If they were all leg breakers then they would have never seen the level of success that they did for nearly a century. Sammy is smart too though. Street wise but also business smart and very sharp.
What a sick dude he sitting there agreeing to it like yes that's the way we bake cake at the eggs get at the flour and then you start a little sugar really
Michael I loved the book it got me through a lot of time in prison the first Mob book I've ever read learned a lot from the smooth Michael the Don ! That wild card wasn't paying attention
Thank you! I said the same exact thing, it’s like he forgets what they’ve talked about in previous interviews. He should know by now that Michael doesn’t like to talk about murders. I think that Vlad always tries to push that point because he’ll get a good video clip with a sensationalize title that people will click on so he can get the views. Vlad is so used to all these other gang members that he has on that love talking about that sort of stuff because they think it makes them look cool and dangerous. Michael has more class than that , and that’s why I have more respect for him than a lot of these other guys!
Michael definitely got his hands dirty in the beginning he just doesn’t like to talk about it like a lot of the other guys do so it just doesn’t seem like he did that sort of stuff. It’s also not true that everyone of them were out there shooting and killing people. Some guys were definitely more violent than others and we’re good at doing that sort of thing and other guys were the money makers and that to Michael was he just didn’t need to do a bunch of the violence stuff himself especially after he had worked his way up the ranks .
@babyboyy207 what u want Michael to do say everybody he murdered and go to prison for the rest of his life. Sammy git indicted on his murders so he can talk about them. Michael was a made guy of course he killed some people
Sammy just did a video about comparing them as serial killers…crazy Roy had a shower downstairs and would hang bodies upside down, cut them open like a pig and drain the blood ….
@@windowsxp4322 sure, but that would be after the boss gave the go ahead. There is a rule to not harm other made men unless of course they got the order
Supposedly Roy was targeting regular people not just mobsters. He would close the Gemini lounge and lure drunk people (Mainly black and Latino people) or anyone vulnerable like that into the back apartment and do the Gemini method.
Walter Mack found 200+ the crew in total might have killed but it couldn't be confirmed. I am helping find new ones and writing a book on it with investigators and others. They have about 80 definite but know there was more. I think it was over 100 in total but far less than 200+. Paul didn't even know about most of them.
Who in the Hell would go to that Lounge much less " that side door." I wonder if that place or building or ground is haunted? It was a slaughter house.
Your exactly right man! When you've actually witnessed evil in person... you don't wanna say what doesn't have to be said! Vlad is coming from a perspective of not knowing or seeing any of this in real life. So just like these people that have commented about your post they think it's normal lol! This shit ain't normal an it ain't fun to talk about.
I laughed when he said 'where do you even find that many people to kill'? He does have a point. But there's also a lot of claims that he killed a lot of people who weren't mobbed up.
200 kills is crazy. Even top sniper Simo Häyhä had around 500 kills and that was against the Soviet Union. He was killing all day every day. Roy was a business guy living a fairly normal life most of the time. He would have to have been killing guys every other week to hit his alleged numbers
I think Vlad is confused. Demeos whole crew is rumored to have about 200-250 bodies. Not Roy alone. And the crew was made up of 20-25 people. But allegedly there was a core group of 6-7 guys really putting in the work .
@@petermanfredini precisely. His entire crew is at around 80, and I helped investigators find some new ones. He is suspected of around 50-60 himself. Mack found 200 in which there was evidence but it was never confirmed.
@@thedarknessunderneathpodca6366 Wait Mack actually had evidence linking to 200? I thought the 200 figure was just wild speculation on the part of Artie Ruffels (who I saw say 300 (that's three hundred) in one documentary) that just got picked up by others and was never really questioned properly.
When he asked did you know anybody that ended up killed at the lounge. He hesitated, looked down and had a slight grin answering. I’ve interviewed thousands of people. I believe that answer was misleading
When Vlad is describing the method of the murders, Franzese looks like he's cringing a bit imagining it, so either knew people it happened to or has seen similar things and isn't completely desensitized to it. Vlad, while he's excitedly reading something he read as the first paragraph in Wikipedia, is completely detached from what he's talking about and it's just this story to him, like a movie, and the reality of what he's describing, the fact that it is something that really happened to real people, obviously isn't as real for him as it is this other guy. It's just this numbers thing, where he's impressed with this 200 kills and wants to hear if he should continue to be impressed or not.
