I just rewatched the original clip when he speaks about Jordan’s father getting murdered, he did explicitly say that his information was second hand and he didn’t know for certain but it seemed likely when piecing things together that he did know

I'm from North Carolina, if by this case was not "open and close" you mean there was an intense, thorough investigation that stayed on the news and went on for months, yes. The Jordan family is beloved here, but Michael's gambling habits, his associates and lifestyle were called into question and put on blast in the media, but there was no connection ever established. If there was something to be found, believe me- there was no way of keeping a lid on it at that time. Yall really need to stop with the gambling theories. It's blaming Michael for his father's death and it's simply not true. Michael's reputation will never be the same and we realize our hometown hero was far from perfect, but blaming him for his father's death is just plain incorrect and evil spirited. He was rightfully investigated and his image was rightfully tainted because of the things he did do- but we also saw the incredible pain he went through because of it- so to keep playing with this "theory" now, is just plain wrong. Franzese literally said the same thing he said before, he heard rumors of this but had no factual information. For Vlad to bring this up as a question, then double back and say "Oh, it was 2 kids totally not mob related and there was a video." is foul. Let Mr. Jordan rest please.
