The balances take time, as it is tiny adjustments at a time to move towards balance. The editing is to keep you from watching a dull video. He does have demonstration videos that he shows a balance from start to finish. Check it out. You will be even more amazed. :-)
No video tricks my friend. I was trying out a setup with my camera on a monopod for these shots. The shots were handheld and rather short and I had to put them together, as best I could, to give it some kind of realtime sense. I've done some time lapse clips with this art form and it works very well. He works slowly which gives me time to experiment. You might want to check some of our other videos. Michael's for real. He does this live in front of people every day. Check out his "how to" videos. There are people all over the world who do this. He's just one of the better ones.
Absolutely incredible! This guy was featured in an article on Yahoo complete with pictures of his work. At first I said to myself that he must be using some amazing apoxy glue to get huge stones to stick together like that. Then I read that there is no glue involved at all, merely gravity and I was like - NO WAY! He said in the article that he discovered his talent by chance when he was outdoors in nature with a friend. I always say that everyone has a hidden talent just waiting to be exposed. I would assume that this hobby would either be the most meditative or the most frustrating hobby out there. I dont think that there is an in-between here LOL.
The "evolutionist" who watch my , There's an Agenda Behind Evolution video absolutely hate that I use something like this to show how stupid there theories are. I love finding and leaving them too, but this guy makes mine look like a cave man was here lol
I admired the balance but I am really worried about the artist; working in cold water will have serious rheumatical disease as result! Please, Mr. Grab use your talent somewhere else! Your creativity will find new ways to surprise us, I am sure!
