Hussey is doing the sensible thing. He knows Narine can bring the ball back in. So he is trying to play straight and cover the stumps to avoid getting bowled or lbw by the ball that spins the other way. Which is why he is getting beaten on the off cutter. It gives the impression that he is struggling but he is just doing the smart thing.

Fun thing to observe : Hussey was leaving the ball well, he didn't need to chase at the ball drifting so far away from his reach. Except the third ball, he wasn't troubled much too. But modern day cricket fans-turned-experts always expect the batsman to hit the ball on the rise, & anything otherwise is considered as batsman's trouble. In this case, Hussey was sitting deep in his crease, allowing the ball to turn & then play with the spin/leave as necessary. Not taking away any credit from Narine, he's a good bowler, but this was a pretty ordinary over, considering the line & length he bowled.

Narine should have played more number of matches across formats for the West Indies in his formative years.

If you can't play the bowler start calling him chucker. Muralidharan, Sunil Narayan, Ajmal etc. Batsman can play in any stance, reverse sweep, reverse flip, sleep or anything. But bowler has to follow all godamn rule 😢

Cool thinker of the game he is! But most evidently he has a chuck in his action, which he had developed through his unconventional variations. ICC had also banned him for that as he now changed in action, yet still having that lil' bit of chuck. KKR wasn't able to use his bowling for the same reason, and treated him as a flexible batter; who can either open the innings or come down the order. This was certainly a waste of international spot as he wasn't at his full potential for KKR the earlier seasons.
