I really like this kind of shorter format being extracted from your morning stream. I remember when your daily podcast was really growing fast and back then you would have the occasional guest phone in, with whom to discuss issue, people like Viva Frie, Alan Dershowitz, and Mark Schneider. and others who just took the bait, so to speak..I kind of miss those segments. It would be interesting to have smart opposing viewpoints or genuinely intelligent perspectives/questions, with whom you could have polite and perceptive discussion with the idea in mind of having one's mind opened and maybe even changed. Thanks, and cheers.
I have no idea how he made it to 52 years old and fully trusts the news. Seems absurd to me. I was around 27 when I couldnt hold the cognitive dissonance anymore. It felt exactly like when I saw a bunch of contradictions in my religious background at age 14
When you understand everything is being systematically corrupted to conform to a narrative/agenda/social engineering, things start making a lot more sense. You have to find your way out of corruption to get to the clean core of information. Shutting down the ability of public discourse, regardless of how vile you might think it is, is exactly what they are doing for that purpose and the common reaction is exactly what they want from the public. They want everyone to police each other so they don't have to.
Good example of cognitive dissonance that most people can relate too ! Never thought about the cognitive dissonance required to believe the crap the Bible and church tells us to believe lol
@@Scottadamsfan3481 It's not crap and it's definitely SOME churches, not all of them. You need to wipe your mouth and educate yourself a lot before spewing zionist crap about the Bible. Catholicism is the main responsible and the backbone of what made western civilization great and stable.
I liked Michael Ian Black in Another Period. Great show. Obviously, since MIB is part of the Hollywood community, he must be careful. To even ask Scott Adams a question is courageous on his part.
Boy, judging from the comments, Scott Adams has very dedicated haters following him. Their comments only show the world the contents of their characters. And when one is hated by people of such character, one can be assured he merits listening to.
One of the things I have done that makes me the proudest as a parent is convince my kids that the news is entertainment and usually completely full of shit.
Some choice quotes (if you haven't seen them): "Everything you read in the newspapers is absolutely true-except for the rare story of which you happen to have firsthand knowledge." -Knoll's Law of Media Accuracy (Erwin Knoll, editor, "The Progressive") "You read with exasperation or amusement the multiple errors in a story, and then turn the page to national or international affairs, and read as if the rest of the newspaper was somehow more accurate on those subjects than the baloney you just read. You turn the page, and forget what you know." -Gell-Mann Amnesia Effect (Michael Crichton) "The fat Russian agent was cornering all the foreign refugees in turn and explaining plausibly that this whole affair was an Anarchist plot. I watched him with some interest, for it was the first time that I had seen a person whose profession was telling lies-unless one counts journalists." -George Orwell, _Homage to Catalonia_ (1938) "It is a melancholy truth, that a suppression of the press could not more completely deprive the nation of its benefits, than is done by its abandoned prostitution to falsehood. Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day." -Thomas Jefferson, letter to John Norvell (June 11, 1807) 'Th' newspaper does ivrything f'r us. It runs th' polis foorce an' th' banks, commands th' milishy, controls th' ligislachure, baptizes th' young, marries th' foolish, *comforts th' afflicted, afflicts th' comfortable,* buries th' dead an' roasts thim aftherward. They ain't annything it don't turn its hand to fr'm explainin' th' docthrine iv thransubstantiation to composin' saleratus biskit.' -Finley Peter Dunne, "Newspaper Publicity" in "Observations by Mr. Dooley" (1902)
This is the answer to the de-monetized version where RU-vid had to trounce on the words "Climate Change". They took his revenue on that video because he didn't use his words correctly according to the AI. This was the most valuable extract to remonetize IMO.
The whole point of an economics degree is to sell your opinions to narrow interests. For most people who have one. I always chuckle when people say "economists say", as if their employer base was some kind of representative group. I doubt very much that there is any evidence that having an economics degrees makes you a better forecaster. Probably some economics studies though. At least having the degree allows you to be in the group, and understand what the consensus opinions mean.
Think Scott is wrong or very well could be wrong about the UFOs. There is no way to know it either way but it’s a strange thing to be claimed to loudly for their not to be something there.
This is a straight out except from this morning's program. Great, but I was expecting something new to me. Except I thought you said this morning that the identity of the person wasn't important. Is this an expansion?
“How can I predict that I would be good at head? Because I was able to fellate myself for 30 minutes.” Scott has some interesting takes/videos, this isn’t one of them lol
Good man Scott, tackling these misunderstandings for the people. When done, please address chemical birth control, and how that destroyed the American dream, by giving the power of empire builders to society housewives.
Well, family Kennedy (both Old Joe and RFK) has very large families with wives that tolerated open cheating. The husbands kept them pregnant for most of 20 year.
Well, SOME folks that have studied economics are successful at predicting. You learn how to predict by studying the past. The un-successful (in investing) economist can still teach the past quite well.
Be confident. Your results will speak the loudest. Making a long explanation as to why you are right is frivolous and takes away something from your results.

I lasted a shade over 7 minutes, and I feel like a hero for achieving that. What a tedious, self-centred video. Hope the punchline was worth it -- I won't be finding out either way.
And what insights do you have to share? Would you like to be referred to in a disparaging way? Start your own channel and see how many people listen to you babble 🙂
I started out thinking this response was mean spirited but I’d like to have heard the question and answer but he rambled for so long I lost interest and began to completely agree with this response.
Scott makes seventy predictions a day, and focusses on the two or three that seem to pan out each month, Scott is a millionaire because of Dilbert, if you believe all his BS he would be a billionaire because of his predictions. Have you ever wondered why he never actually debates anyone? Scott thought he knew it all in his 30s, now he thinks he knows it all in his 60s. In a nutshell, Scott's shtick is "If you were as smart as I am, you would know" I particularly like his "I am clever plus" claim, it goes: it's easier to brainwash (hypnotize) intelligent people, to which you might say "but hey Scott, you're intelligent, so you're susceptible to brainwashing, right?" To which Scott replies, "no, because I'm a trained hypnotist, I can't be brainwashed"
“I’m a trained hypnotist because I went to a hypnosis seminar in 1979. It cannot be learned from a book - it must be learned directly from a hypnosis master, so these skills are very rare.” Scott, if you don’t do stage hypnosis or clinical hypnosis then you’re not a hypnotist.
triple dipping Here. what are the chances that scott autographs one of his books 📚 🤔?... I would purchase probably all of them if they were autographed!. now, doea that mean the price goes up or remain the same? let me know!
I’d say Michael Ian Black had the better BS detector in this exchange. Scott Adams comes off as a sanctimonious prick. Reminds me of when Brian Dunning got his ass handed to him by Joe Rogan.
