It's so cool how they switched to There Was A Time for MJ's dance segment given how MJ used to perform it as a kid. It's just unfortunate how Prince's performance ended up.

Certain things get overlooked in Prince’s part . The guitar he was given for instance . Not the right one for him . He actually did a funky guitar lick that you could see James Brown was feeling . Sadly James Brown was putting Prince’s jacket away and missed the move he did on the mic stand . He even looked over to jb to see if he saw it . I love how he threw the glove into the audience at the start and someone threw it back at him lol But this performance and the critisim toughened up Prince and he never made this mistake again. Blessing in Disguise ? I’d like to know how much jb knew of Prince and his music before he came on stage .
