@PARK I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe with my heart that Jesus was raised from the dead. I repent of all my sins and I've been baptized. I plan to live faithful until my spirit leaves my body. God bless you as well brother .
I loved every second of this interview. We should always have people who are great in their fields sit down and talk and let the people listen and learn.
Roy can be anything he wants! In any setting no matter what! Pound-4-pound, he's one of the five greatest boxers who ever lived including any weight class! I still vividly remember where I (16 years old) was watching him during the '88 Olympics and the brute power coupled with his punch speed (a sight to behold) was the best I'd seen (only Tyson during his dominance equalled it)! When he lost that gold medal match complete disbelief doesn't even begin to cover! If there we're an event which signaled or defined the word HOSED, it'd be Roy Jones losing his '88 gold medal decision! It's by far the #1 travesty in the history of the Summer Olympics, my personal opinion! What separates it from the '72 basketball team, for me, was that it wasn't decided due to a clock malfunction! The referees clearly saw the entire fight and blindly decided a winner based on who they wanted to win and not who actually won!
@@bradlewis6514 That's why you shouldn't invest too much emotionally into sports that rely on judges to make a final decision without being held accountable for each individual call. So pretty much any combat sport shouldn't be too emotionally invested in or you will find yourself having an aneurysm when you are "certain" that a fighter got robbed.
@@justsayin669 Plus Jones remained class and dignity throughout the unfolding of that circus! He was the better man even in defeat and it made him an even more well-rounded boxer for the remainder of his boxing career
jonathan moss she is dominate but tennis doesn’t get the recognition. 80% of the world have no idea who she is. MJ in the other hand you can go to any country in the world and they will know who he is. He is globally recognized. He is the measuring stick to success in everything. He’s the Michael Jordan of _________
if you could go back and change 1 thing in your career what would it be warren: fuck that i get 2 serena: 98 french open jeter: diving into third resulting in injury mike: nothing roy jones jr : ????????? why they skip roy yall
Love Roy, he's been the SAME person his entire life. He never sold out, I have undeniable Love and Respect for Roy Jones Jr. "Y'all must of forgot" I never will.
So nobody noticed how these were all Jordan sponsored athletes. With Jordans favorite best friend reporter. This whole convo was set up by the boss MJ. 👏🏾
@@showofhands8214 never said he was. I called him a boss, which he is. Never said anything about his play. But everyone has had the crown at their own time.
Did you think they call up these athletes on their personal cell phones? No, they reach out to their agencies and companies they're under contract with. Its not rocket science.
@@marksommers4179 dude you have no idea what you're talking about. Rashad, the reporter, was and is very good friends with MJ. It is well known that MJ would call him just to give him the interview. Just like AI did with Stephen A. This is the only way, as athletes, they can control the media and what is said about them. Now mister ESPN exec, stop trolling with no substance to give other than your personal opinion.✌🏾
I love seeing MJ and Serena sitting next to each other. They're both such singular, dominant athletes that it's cool to see them in a social situation with their counterparts.
@PARK you think there going to try and chip us, I saw the RU-vid clip on the news and got scared I know these are the end times but I am not ready I don't want to be fearful whatsoever but I'm not ready Lord Jesus
Sumnah Lennon For me it’s MJ. Because like he said.. the 82 game grind year after year and the fact you have to mentally prepare for each season and playoff run as though you’ve never won anything. For him to 3peat twice is just incredible as incredible can get. Plus the Global Icon he was along with Ali was just something unimaginable and great to behold. How he has taken over the globe with his sneakers and Jordan Brand is even more ridiculous
Hands down one of the best RU-vid videos I’ve watched!! Pure greatness all in one room☝🏽... couldn’t help but smile throughout the whole vid!! Thanks so much for the upload ❤️💯✊🏽
I think it’s interesting how Ahmad only asked MJ and Jeter for their impressions on everyone. It really shows how observant and spectacular of an interviewer Ahmad Rashad is!!
I agree. He is one of these reporters that don't feel like they behind a glass asking questions. I always felt like he belonged among the guys. That's why he and MJ are friends. He is real, intelligent and fun at the same time. And I say that as a guy from eastern Europe watching the NBA for over 30 years.
@@jessey1729 Being a black man myself, I was about to say something about the comment of "Sator". Comments like that, make blacks around the world look like clowns. And I am talking about my own kind.
There is something very different when there is a fighter in the room. The words become truer and more real. There are no higher stakes in all of sport than that of a prize fight. Roy Jones Jr. is one of the most, if not the most, sensational boxer in its history.
Mrs Serena Williams❤ better at her sport then most, right along with Roy and MJ and you can argue that her and MJ are the two G.O.A.Ts! Much love to all the greats in the interview.
This was filmed a month before Roy got KO'd by Tarver,he'd won a heavyweight belt and was considered by many the greatest P4P boxer ever, a rare moment when an athlete in the same room was held in almost as high esteem as MJ .
@@SLUGTHUG LOL Here's Fat Joe telling the story of when Roy came to KO him over those lyrics. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-emHMUcnge_g.html
@@shangtsung1362 And I remember Tarver losing the exact same way to B-Hop. He understood (the hard way) how hard it is to fluctuate weight & different classes, after making that Rocky Movie. I still think that Roy was the better boxer, but after those back to back knockouts he suffered, he never came back the same...
Ahmad Rashad. This is JOURNALISM. A real interview with LEGENDS. Respect. Great questions. RJJ man 😂my dawg man KILLIN me man. This is the greatest ESPN ever was.
Bmore Truthful bingo lol. RJJ has advertised the Jumpman in every single fight, rap video, cameo appearance, lol... he may have even worn it on a microphone while commentating fights lol.🐐
Bear7 Bear7 great products also that’s NEVER going out of style, lol as a matter of a fact it seems like the older his stuff gets the more people wants them.
golf isn't a sport. if fat people can play, then it it isn't sport. walk, hit, walk, hit, walk? even worse, walk, hit, ride in a buggy, walk, hit. that would a lame sport.
So cool to see Roy sitting there with Jordan, while wearing all his Jordan gear:) 😂🙌🏻 Also funny to watch these greats give their honest option without fear of backlash cause so much of what they said would now be considered politically incorrect... I miss these days.
Michael Jordan saying he ain’t a killer probably was the most funniest line on here Michael Jordan would roll over his grandmama to win a game I’m not a killer SMH
Interesting timing on this video when it aired...all of them would find themselves going through it. Jones is months away from his shocking KO loss to Antonio Tarver. Jeter and the Yankees would be the first (and still only) team in MLB history to blow a 3-0 series lead in the playoffs. Sapp would sign with my Oakland Raiders and cease being a top end defensive player again. Serena would go with ANY major wins either as a singles or doubles player for one of only two seasons in her incredible career, including her only major tourney loss to Maria Sharapova in the Wimbledon finals. And MJ drifted a bit (by his lofty standards) in the three years after Abe Pollin fired him in Washington with the Wizards.
Best interview I've see in a long time. Best of the Best in their own sport representing the Jordan Brand at their finest with Ahmad Rashad from the Inside Stuff. Sports back then was real in your face now its Mickey Mouse play and giving fans what they want instead of playing for the love of the game. Old school ball was real!!!
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
CUT IT OUT THAT LITTLE SWEETIE BABY GIRL IS JUST AS SPECIAL AS JORDAN MORE SO BECAUSE SHE IS A GREAT PERSON AND A GREAT SPORTS ICON TO THE WORLD HER DAD IS A HERO FOR WHAT HE DID FOR TWO BEAUTIFUL LADIES SO GOAT TO HER DAD AND HER SISTER ❤️ LOVE ❤️ 😍 THEY WENT THREW HELL SO TREAT HER LIKE OUR HERO'S AND OUR QUEENS ALSO. WE GOT LOTS OF FOLKS IS GOATS WHO LOOK LIKE US
I love seeing top tier athletes speak with other top tier athletes rather than reports/commentators who have never been even close to GOAT level. Only elite athletes understand what it takes to go out and not only win but to dominate in their sports. I have to give so much RESPECT to Serena for still playing a sport that she loves and having much success after 20 years.
