Jordan is well spoken, polite, humble for the most part, dresses like hes the best. Hes just all around the best there will ever be. It would take one hell of a player to duplicate what he has done on the court and in the business world.

...One thing that interests me from this interview by Larry King, the Michael Jordan of his era: MJ's wit, wisdom and vantage views as well as his demeanor set him apart from a lot of high-schoolers who went straight to the big league and most of the one-and-done superstars who either entertained or pissed us off; the pedigree that prepared him to be as successful as he is today in various fields. Of course he has his shares of lapses or frailties but in the bigger picture, his knowledge, values & skills learned from both high school and college years prepared him to be the better MJ he became in the NBA, paving the way of him becoming an icon in many respects and disciplines.

MJ is the best thing to happen to the NBA on and off the court. He's the ideal ambassador for the NBA. The NBA has been phony and inauthentic ever since MJ retired.

Jordan was all business when it came to interviews. Plus you could never trap him in a conversation because he was conscious about what he said. That's all upbringing. Plus people from the country understand etiquette. They may seem stupid how they sound but are very down to earth and savvy when it comes to conversation. Jordan is an icon a sports symbol so your not gonna get him to say something so personal to where he gets in to trouble because he always focused on the game from a business aspect. One thing he always remember ed to do was smile. Definitely a man of mystic...One thing he did was he never let people put limitations on him. Socially, racially, financially and culturally .One thing I liked about this interview was Larry King tried bating him to say something else when he asked where would he like to go outside of Chicago. Mike said simply his kids go to school there .During the school year he has to be there. I like how practical he is. Because of Mike's stardom People don't understand how regular he is.

I think the NBA should retire Micheal Jordan's #23 throughout the entire league. Similar to what the NHL did with Wayne Gretzy's #99. No player should be able to wear the number 23 again.

3:38 I relate with MJ's sentiments about being almost oblivious to race and societies various constructs and hindrences surrounding the topic. I'm African and I was 30 when it hit me. Now I can't unsee it. In retrospect, perhaps it was the answer to the problems that have been plaguing me all along..
